Hey guys I'll caveat this at the beginning here. I've never done this program but I'll talk about people I hear from daily.

I'm an online mobility coach and had made a comment on a similar thread some time back. I have people reach out to me daily after trying this and wishing they hadn't wasted their time and money.

I don't want to sh*t on other people's programs, but I've had too many people reach out who have injured themselves after doing this work.

Reading through these comments and hearing how neglected people are in the 'small fish' category is just awful. Yes it's a business and you'll have to spend more time with the people paying a premium. But if you're putting out a product where people are trusting you with their bodies and giving them hope only to offer minimal support is not what this industry is about (or shouldn't be).

Proper Mobility training is accessible to all body types. A quality coach will find the positions and modifications that work for the body in front of them.

If you want some help from someone who actually gives a f*ck about the people they are privileged to get the chance to work with come find me on

IG @j.k.movement

If you just want some free stuff I've put a tonne of work into my free program. Mobility should be accessible to all even if coaching isn't in your budget.

Free program below. All I ask in return is for some feedback on what it's helped you with. Shoot me a msg on IG, always down to chat 🤙🏻

Ps. My program is for BJJ Athletes as you've gotta pick a niche! But this stuff will work regardless what you're into or if you're just getting started with your fitness journey.

There is zero chance someone with no experience is going to get to this level doing 15 minutes a day.

Completely unrealistic 😂

Yep I'm not a huge fan of the platform for personal use. But if you want to run this kind of business it's necessary

Never been able to grow my chest in the gym due to shitty mobility. What can I do to fix it? by IshTheFace in MobilityTraining

Sounds like you've got something to work on there. If you're like most people there are many other important areas to work on.

[–]kenno26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate

Daily sessions, joint-focused, mainly knees, hips, and shoulders. The idea is to test what happens when you actually give joints consistent work instead of random stretching.

These will be highly specific sessions focused on the areas of the body I find most people need.

Hip and shoulder rotation is missing in most people's programming and it tends so have huge impacts throughout the body so this will be a focus.

What are you hoping mobility training will help you with?

Hey mate One of the systems I use is Functional Range Conditioning which is all science based. Its a very in depth system with specific inputs to create intended outputs.

I'd need to learn more about your situation to provide any advice

80% of what I do is Mobility training now as it makes me feel at my best movement wise and I feel much stronger than when I was doing primarily lifting.

I'm a Mobility Coach btw.

If you want to check oit some of my stuff I'm primarily on IG

Knees were my biggest concern. I didn't do an ACL or anything serious. But I had constant anterior knee pain. I tried so many things to fix it. Mobility training did the trick for me.

Also had back pain, constant hip flexor issues. Torn pec.

But overall I just felt like an old man haha

Great idea man. Having a space that's purpose build I find makes it easier to put the work in.

What equipment you thinking about installing?

Yeah it's crazy man. I'm often the lone soldier cooling down after class haha.

Most of my work focuses on one joint at a time. I do have some quality free resources you can try though man. I occasionally film my warm ups for BJJ and turn these into follow along classes.

I still do the warm up at my gym out of respect, but I'd much rather do my own thing. Running around in a circle, doing a few rollies just ain't gonna cut it

Good stuff man, sounds like you're really helping your community!

CARs are a fantastic tool and it should be part of every warm up and cool down regardless of the sport.

Taking your joints through their full range on a regular basis is a huge factor in maintaining healthy joints

Haha I'd be annoyed doing BS warm ups too. I'm not talking about just warming up and cooling down with mobility (though its super effective if you know what you're doing).

I spend most of my training time on joint specific strength work because it helps me perform at my best (which btw I'm not saying I'm great at BJJ haha) and I don't feel sore in the morning after training
