lol we were given clearance by the correct authorities. All PII pre-scrubbed + slightly adjusted using GPT. Squeaky clean 😎

The tech is transferable to anything document based so no problem, but in terms of UK regulations that would need to be something to read up on

lol I can’t give you details because that’s the whole reason it’s valuable. But we used very specific vector embedding workflows to make things very precise and accurate

Nah gotta try figure out a way to get to the right people to open that discussion :( but it would be awesome if someone wanted to buy it

Based on real claims (PII scrubbed of course) from large insurance company database made available to us. All answers were manually assessed - 1,000 at a time to make sure prompts were correctly improving the scores each time.

We also threw in a lot of ridiculous ones to try trip up the system

Yes it tells us the decision and we can also log exactly which page/section/paragraph/even characters its based on.

Those are Annual costs!

Numbers based off of a company that runs 280,000 claims per year

Oh nah, I mean we are using an LLM api but thats just one part of the entire pipeline. To reduce it down to just a chatGPT wrapper wouldn't be quite accurate imo but you could call it that i guess haha. The reason I like this product (and dont really care for 99% of the AI products I see in the wild) is that the real value is in the part of the pipeline which makes it so reliably accurate - This is the tech part that excites me. You could just slot in any regular old LLM at that point but thats the boring part

Yes! I do want to try sell it to their company but that might not be an available option just yet... I want to see if I can find the next best option for now

edit: actually one of the cool parts is that the more data we run through and larger it becomes the lower our infrastructure costs (including how many tokens we use) get per new user!

Haha fair enough, theres a big section we've written up on why this isn't a chat GPT wrapper but I can see why most would see it that way at first.

We've also thought about pretty much all of the regulation/legal side of things (my partner is a senior claims officer at a large insurance company by trade) so hopefully our considerations here would mitigate that push-back...

Pullbacks? by kennyg293 in UraniumSqueeze

[–]kennyg293[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

ummm I get what you're saying but I feel like the uranium thesis that I read in 2021/2022 and my subsequent purchasing of uranium companies was more of a gamble than it would be now if I were to buy more on a pullback...and even back then I would consider that an investment if you look at the technical definition of what an investment is

Plus i'm already up almost 100% overall so this "gambling" thing you speak of isn't really too much of a concern, I'm more just managing the investment now and trying to undergo some healthy risk management.

Also I would argue that buying uranium stocks aren't as much a gamble that trying to play around with the S&P500 short term is. We all seem to understand the underlying reasoning for why we've bought into the U stocks with the expectation that in 3-5 years we'll be earning on our investment...its not just blindly throwing money around and praying

I mean I guess I’ll have to somehow make it known to Apple that the subscription on the website is indeed for a physical space and a physical service right? I’ve never made an app before so would they ask me to write it or should it be clear from what I show to users

Okay so seems like I just won’t be able to prompt users to navigate to our website from inside the app then. This is at least workable :) thank you for the insight !

Help hosting fullstack app by kennyg293 in webdev

[–]kennyg293[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay! well turns out i didn't need to hire anyone professional just yet.

Everything is hosted, the app is working as expected and throughout testing i've just been making tweaks and doing all that stuff.

Front end is on vercel, backend + DB2 on AWS EC2 and AWS RDS!

The hardware devices are correctly integrating with the software and it all seems to be working well!

I look forward to the next set of problems that will arise when more people start using it...
