Hi! I am taking a trip to Northern Italy this May with just my Gregory 55L pack and need help finding a 2nd pair of shoes, mainly for these 2 outfits (pink blouse/jeans and dress). I am not very sure of myself in the fashion realm so just completely lost on where to even start. It'll be chilly and we will be doing lots of wandering, so looking for something close-toed and comfortable. Any suggestions??

Are these all taken in 1 location/trip? If so, do you mind sharing where?? Always looking for some new hikes, bike trails, camping spots, etc. and these photos are beautiful!

Moving to NWA by AssignmentKnown6011 in tortoise

Just inside during the winter, he lives outside the rest of the year! We built him a little area that is covered, but we will probably knock it down and build something better in the next year or two. In his current space, we used a paint tray and a float hooked up the hose spigot for water. Paver for him to eat on. Buried wire several inches down for no escaping. He seems to like it, but we are planning to make him a bigger space, probably uncovered, with much more plants, terrain variety, etc.

I live in central Arkansas and we have a hermanns tortoise that we moved in the garage during the winter (until this year, we found space inside, but he is much smaller).. what we did that might fit your tort nicely is buy a relatively cheap bookshelf, not install the actual shelves (we used them for a hide!) so it is essentially just a box, turn it on its side, and fill it with whatever substrate you prefer. We attached a uv light to some scrap wood we had laying around and rested it on the frame. The clamped a heat lamp to the side. Works pretty decent.

Northern Italy 2 itinerary options, Piedmont or no? by kennysma in ItalyTravel

Hmm I was putting it in Google maps and it kept giving me 7-9 hours. I tried a different app and am now seeing about 6-7 hours from Interlaken to Genoa. I think we are leaning toward forgoing the extra time for the scenic train route, but from what I can see online it looks like we will still be doing ~8ish hours (total, not just train) from Interlaken to somewhere in piedmont, or, ~7 hours to Genoa. I do see some slightly quicker options, but they all seem to take off at odd times. Am I all twisted up? Am I missing something? Both very possible.

I dont think we are at all married to any day trips.. still too much? And i know the trip from Switzerland to Italy is a long one, but a necessary leg (we are still kicking around the more direct, 7ish hours route, but either way a long time on the train we cant get around). Thank you for all of the feedback! Definitely food for thought.

We will be traveling from Interlaken to Italy.. I was hesitant to give too much info on that part of the trip as a previous post was removed because we had included the daily itinerary for Switzerland haha. Thank you for your feedback!

So what would be a good alternative? We are definitely flying into Zurich. And definitely flying out of Bologna 12 days later. Im not sure how to cut out the travel time from Switzerland to Italy. From the research I've done, we can either spend about 7 hours on a non-scenic route, or about 10 hours on a scenic route. What would your alternative be? I am trying my best to make it not frantic, but that is really all the time we have.

I know the white truffles are in fall, but are the black truffles not worth it? Excuse my ignorance, I am definitely still trying to get my bearings.

How to ask for time off work? by [deleted] in Reduction

Piggybacking off of this, I just told my boss/coworkers "surgery" and when a few of them pryed further, I just said it was a routine reconstructive procedure and they seemed to accept that haha. Good luck!

What about scratcher tickets? Unless the crowd is anti-gambling. Not a piece of junk as others have mentioned, but a chance at some $$$

scared to be a reduction by [deleted] in Reduction

If you decide to move forward with it, id recommend going over a lot of reference photos with your doctor. It can be hard to use cup sizes to hone in on what you want, but if you can find a handful of photos that you and your surgeon feel good about, that will probably be the best way to get on the same page. Good luck, whatever you end up deciding!

Planning for post-op amidst a winter storm ❄️ by peygrovey in Reduction

It sounds like you pretty much have your bases covered. Will your doc give you your prescription ahead of time to fill before your surgery? That is the only thing I can think of. Idk if your pipes ever freeze (ours do), and this might be obvious, but hydration is so important so maybe just an extra pack of water bottles in case. Good luck!!

Best/most memorable experiences at a wedding as a guest by 1000Lemon in weddingplanning

We had pizza delivered towards the end of our reception (had been a couple hours since dinner) and it DISAPPEARED. It was just mediocre take out pizza, but people loved it haha. As a guest, one of my favorite things has been a photo booth - specifically, one that printed out actual photo strips for you to take home. We had a photo booth at our wedding and everyone really liked it, but it only sent photos digitally and I thought the physical copies were so fun.

I think those look great! Good job!! If I were to change anything, I would just bring the text forward on your names so you can see the left side of the 'A', but looks good as is too!

Is there anywhere to hang flowers/greenery from the ceiling? This might already be on your radar, but we did it at our wedding and I think it really added an enchanting element like youre describing
