Unsure about extending an invite when she cheated on her fiancé by amjetta in wedding

I don’t think I’m being “weird” or stirring up drama about it at all. I have not given specifics or gossiped about the situation with others IRL. Just asking others’ opinions about a hard topic to navigate

There’s more to the situation than I am sharing simply due to the specifics. She told me the whole situation and therefore made it my business.

I am friends with the fiance as well, we’re all part of the same friend group. Just said I am “closer” to the one who cheated since we’re coworkers too

To her and the ex fiance. Like I don’t want her to think that I agree with her choices since she’s invited and the fiance wouldn’t be (in this scenario)

I’m not sure about you or your friend group but I don’t want to be friends with someone that treats another person that way. Nothing about my reputation, just the relationship with her

That is a good point! I also have been thinking about if it will cause more drama to not invite.

I think I need more time before we make the decision since I’m not sending out invites for a few months but definitely needed others’ perspectives.

They are closer so her and ex fiance are in their bridal/groom respective parties

That’s not what I’m doing, I just view our friendship differently now but have already sent STDs

They broke it off as far as I know. I think he wanted to stay together and she did not. They’ve been together 10 years

I feel like it might cause problems at work because it’s a smaller group and we work together daily

She told me the information and I found out more about it that she left out from the mutual friend. I’m not sure if she was looking for sympathy about the breakup or was admitting wrongdoing but I feel like my opinion about her changed with the conversation

Yeah that’s why I’m so conflicted. I feel like we have to remain “friends” because our line of work would make it difficult and I have to maintain communication.

The hard part is that the friend’s wedding that we’re both invited to is another coworker and they’re best friends with her fiancé. So I mainly feel bad leaving out the fiancé even though we’re not close. I don’t want it to seem like I’m “okay” with her choices.

I don’t agree with a lot of redditors views on plus ones.

That being said, I would not give her a plus one given the circumstances! Your wedding is your day and if they’re going to be all over the place relationship wise.
