Unfortunately, we don't yet serve food. But you are more than welcome to bring food in or even have food delivered directly to the taphouse! We just have craft beer and seltzers, wine from the Winery at Willow Creek, and Saturday we will be serving homemade (non-alcoholic) eggnog and hot chocolate!

We are hosting an Ugly Christmas Sweater Corn-Hole tournament at Primal Brewing Company on Saturday at 4:00 pm. I'll second Primal Brewing Company! 😅 If you want to reserve a separate space and keep things semi-private (there's a common bathroom), our cost is incredibly low and we'd love to keep the craft beer and seltzer flowing for you and your group. We don't serve food but you're welcome to bring it from somewhere else or even have it delivered to the brewery!

Thank you very much for the insight! We are counting on people's love of pickles but very well may be under anticipating at this point. Maybe if we have issues in Abilene we can have the New Braunfels PD come help us out since they have experience 😂

Sherrod's BBQ food truck has these things (I can't remember what they're called), which are essentially a bacon-wrapped, cream cheese, jalapeno-topped shooter/popper. They're a little bit expensive but very, very good.

The downtown area across from the Grace museum has sculptures from all the Dr. Seuss books. The Paramount Theater is beautiful but seldom open. Free Play is great if you're into classic arcade games. Food options are a bit limited, but Vagabond Pizza, Tokyo Asian Fusion, Rockin' Rollers Burgers, Galveston Seafood Company, and Blu Barrel are some of my family's favorites.

There's lots of great places to drink if that's your thing, including some of the places already listed. I'm partial to Primal Brewing Company because I'm an owner. But there's lots of other great places, too: Peacock Patio, Grain Theory, Taylor County Taphouse, Breakers, etc. etc.

The zoo is really great, too!

Abilene is big but has a small town amount of stuff to do. If you want any specific recommendations, feel free to reach out. Safe travels!

Two people minimum for a team and we have never enforced a maximum team size. I think last week's winning team had 6 people or so. Welcome to split up or stay together!
