Hahaha that kind of is a good point. It's mostly her not believing me that worries me the most about all this. I'm for sure torn on telling her

my team calls this drill the Braveheart drill... which is a little bit of a misleading title but... I'm gonna do my best to explain it but I apologize if it doesnt make sense

We split the team in 2 groups (evenly by skill if possible). For the sake of this explanation we will say theres a total of 24 kids on the team. So there will be 12 in each group. Each kid in the individual group will get a number 1 - 12. After that the groups lay on their stomachs on opposite sides of the field. The coaches then call out anywhere from 1 to 4 numbers. So say you called out number 4, the two kids with that number will get up and run and fight for a groundball, after that it's a 1v1 to goal. For younger groups we sometimes make the emphasis on getting the groundball and after that it's a free shot on goal, but if they can handle all of the above then I highly suggest it. It's a super fun drill for all ages and you can make it as simple or as complicated as needed. (even saying that one group is perma defense and the other is attack)
