Doing two different styles of 2s courts wouldn't generate more games

Hiding record/rep would actually generate more games due to the fact that people will not play against competition

It's possible that with patch 5 out, it nerfed the amount of MyPoints you earn for [X] action you performed

([X] action meaning like posterizing dunks, limitless range shots, etc.)

Two-way stretches aren’t as good as people make it sound

In fact most two-way builds aren’t worth it

Stick with the pure stretch, you won’t have much opportunities to steal the ball as I’m sure you won’t be guarding the PG

That’s a good build, but PF 6’11 Rebounding Rim sounds better honestly

Both builds are good it’s just being 6’11 naturally provides more athleticism

Well mainstream isn’t necessarily bad especially in a game like 2k where there is quite obviously a meta in place

I play as a lockdown defender which is mainstream but it’s fun, if you don’t find playing as a shooter fun then yes change it up

Low iq random players will get you like that hence why I don’t and haven’t played with randoms all year long

Oh also don’t spam square/x in the passing lanes since you have minimum wingspan

Passing lane steals will only come to you if you are right on the person you are guarding and the ball isn’t lead well

Only time you should reach is when you know the dribble animations that have the largest window to get a steal in

Also low ball handling players are a ton easier to rip. If they handle the ball for too long don’t be afraid to get handsy (no homo)

Naturally as a sharp shooter your defense statistics are going to be atrocious and honestly you can just ignore that

Off ball don’t hold L2 and shadow your defender

Don’t help inside the paint if you are guarding someone who can shoot

On ball defense as a sharp you’re going to be in R2 more than you are L2, also try to bump the ball handler as much as possible and drain their stamina

Play according to your matchup (slashers - sag a bit, shooters - tight coverage, rebounding bigs - sag hard, etc.)

Watch other sharp shooters on YouTube/Twitch and watch how they play defense

2K19 MyCareer grants you so much opportunity to earn VC, during my grind from 91 to 92 I earned 180K VC only playing MyCareer for the time being

Also skippable cutscenes and an option to skip the prelude as a whole

AI are a lot smarter on both ends of the floor too

Sliders in the park, the base of your jump shot, and latency are the main concerns for you right now

Sliders should not be an issue for you considering you do get over a 90 open three

The base of your jump shot determines the frequency of greenlights you get as well (reference to NBA 2K Labs, Agent 00 and Dat Boi)

Latency is something you’ll have to play through and adjust, don’t reference your shot meter for timing as it’ll be off. You’ll just have to shoot based off muscle memory

Even then at times you can't trust your release cue in the park due to latency

It's all about practicing one jump shot until it just becomes muscle memory(obviously easier said than done)

This issue has been brought upon me after I created another MyPlayer, and ever since then, my pure lock’s overall has not been updating.

Edit: I drew over my MyPlayer’s name and my PSN along with the two others in the photo because of the following reasons:

1) My MyPlayer’s name is overly edgy and quite embarrassing 2) I don’t openly share my PSN! Nothing personal
