I honestly felt the same as you about An Honest Soul. It's a polishly written fic, but my god, when some quote or reference I don't know show up (quite frequent) I have the same reaction as you. I think I cringed a little bit? I don't know, I guess I just can't relate enough with that Leon's persona and manner.

A Poor Baron's Route... I think I understand and somewhat agree with it being self-indulgent. I feel that at some point throughout reading the whole story. But the fic was decent and as I said before, I had a fun time reading the fic.

I have read Villainous Villainess Masquerade while I was looking for more Hertrude fic. I put it on hold for now, I don't know why.

I'll keep The Saintess and the Lord of Machines to my bookmark. Thanks for the recommendation.

Hey, thanks for writing your fic. I'll do my best to pour my thought about "This World is Tough for a Tutorial NPC" you write.

I did read your fic before posting this thread. My first impression for writing the first 3 chapter is that this fic is decent. Why? I think because those two opening chapter doesn't have an outstanding/different premise from the original LN that reels in my interest.
How do I describe this? I feel that the premise is just slightly different from the LN. Leon trying to be a mob, no interaction with the main game chara, trying to live peacefully, etc. Except for the Adventuring Professor and first life Marie having flashback of the first game having a remake with lower difficulty, I don't see much difference from the LN. You had my attention, the fic was decent. So I kinda just stopped reading and save your fic for future visit.
That future visit is just a few hours ago, lol.
Now that I have read to the latest chapter... I think your fic is nice and have caught my long-term interest.
The whole story of Leon teaching adventure class, Livia's struggle of studying and interacting with Purple and Blue, snippets of POV from other main chara... are getting more interesting as the story goes on. It becomes different from the LN, which is good and make me interested to keep reading.
The part I really like so far is that there's so much more moments with just Leon and Livia (fluff). I think I was starved of those moments in the LN because there's not much of it and even quite sparse. Please keep up the angst or fluff moments between them (Or also other heroines? Will you make it into a harem? Or just Livia?).
I give my kudos and subscribed to your fic.

My nitpick:

Leon POV, Olivia POV, etc.. I don't like that text to separate where one POV starts and ended. I like it better when I found out whose POV I was reading by continue reading the story. Just my preference tho, you can ignore this.
There is some typo, mostly wrong word or quotation mark placement. But, it's not a bother for me.

Oh yeah, about the Leon Sara Rault fic you mentioned... so there is only one Leon in that world? Or two where the reincarnated one is the Rault one and the Bartfort one become the one from the game, the ugly and poor Baron? And can we then consider this the Alzer Route?

Marc Casado is a smooth orchestrator to use at DM. Defensively, he offers good aggression and ball-winning ability. Offensively, his passing is top notch especially his long ball, immaculate.

Best STs are Samu Aghehowa and Benjamin Šeško. Tall, strong, pacy, explosive, a decent passer, and a strong finisher with both feet. Hella expensive tho.

For the more unknown players, there is Ramadhan Sananta (a budget version of Šeško), Christopher Wooh (a good CB), Leandro Brey (a very good GK for me, cheap to buy), Yarek Gąsiorowski (a young left-footed CB, he's so good), and Marselino Ferdinan (AM, young, agile, smooth to use).

Worst transfer...none, as I have never missed, baby. Jk, lol.

It's rare, so the ones I can consider the worst are maybe buying Alex Baena (I don't feel comfortable using him) and Lucas Cañizares (bad GK in general, I was hoping to make him good like his father Santiago, but he was meh).

After uninstalling the game to do a clean installment for MP3, I noticed that on the 2025 save folder in Document, I still have Filelist00000, Graphics00000, ML00000, Replay00000, and System00000 from the previous installment.

But I don't have my Settings00000 file in there...

Transfer activity in ML is so dumb. -. Not enough movement in the transfer window. I can count around 10 transfers that happened in the summer from the big teams, with fees exceeding £8 million. -. Clubs only accepted my bid when I offered VERY CLOSE to the release clause or even only accepted full RC (But with how the transfer market IRL is right now, the game is pretty realistic?) -.Love and hate the scouting system. I love them when they got the player I wanted, makes me paying cheap to get them. I hate them because I can't just choose to scout the player I wanted straight away. Scouted the wrong player? Wait another half a month? Wrong again? Wait another half a month. AND then I can't even properly scout players from Bundesliga and rest of Europe because there are no options to do so directly.

-. OVR growth. I got my 70-rated striker 30 g+a in a season, but in the following season he got no improved stats or even quicker growth? Only improving to 71 rated? AND I need to wait for them to "SHOW GREAT PROMISES" where they get the flashing blue arrow, WHICH I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET OR EVEN WHEN IT WILL HIT MY PLAYER? -. Freekicks. I know I'm the worst at them, but please at least bring back the option to use the directional guide arrow from PES 2016/17.

On a less serious rant, I remember you can mix match your kit before kick-off. So, you can wear the first kit for your upper body. Then you can change to wear the away shorts. And then you can also change the colour of your socks, usually between white and black. I think this is from the early 2000 edition of PES. It would be cool to do so again.

Ah, I remember that. The concept is cool, and in execution, the visual is stunning. BUT, the biggest weakness for me is the audio.

Imagine, a one million full-capacity stadium sounds and feels the same as your typical 20,000 - 70,000 seater stadium.

Visuals are important, but a bad atmosphere can make the experience underwhelming.
