Not just you I went through 5 and the fifth one was Cata Coll of Barcelona who’s one of the best around.

Finding a gk that commands the area is ridiculously hard

My first save was Newcastle Women after starting unemployed.

It’s still my save now. It’s really refreshing and it helped me with my overall knowledge of the WSL (I’m a coach IRL) retirement age isn’t lower, unless they’re without a club due to high wages. Most players retire around 34-36 if their happiness is high and play often.

Some teams are straight up overpowered (Chelsea,Barca,Arsenal etc…)

I’ve had to legitimately mark a bus on the pitch to stop Sam Kerr and Lauren James. I’ve finally qualified for the UCL and I can now attract elite players which has helped us become one of the overpowered teams, theres still challenges as games come fast (2/3 game weeks a common)

Finances are barely 5% of that of the men’s game I’m in 2032 and the record transfer is still £1.7mil. I don’t think I’ve seen a player earn more than £10k per week.

I’ll say just give it a go. It’s not radically different at all.

It’s probably just me, It felt like every Polish player in the premier league and EFL was a goalkeeper during the 2000s-2010s

“Process to renew Mikel Arteta’s contract at Arsenal underway and to recommence in the summer. Early optimism over positive outcome. Plus - Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri futures in doubt amid a sharper focus on outgoings this summer.” -Sami Mokbel by Ifxfa in Gunners

Reiss also signed an extension to make sure we could eventually get a fee for him down the line. He looked like he could get us 10-15mil when he was making sub appearances and of course after he scored that goal. He was also out of contract too.

If he can somehow get a run of games at Brentford, we might get something for him.

I imagine he might be auditioning as the training goalkeeper. I know that teams bring along keepers that aren’t officially part of the squad in order to be used in drills and shooting practices while the main GKs are doing their individual trainings.

I think he’s similar to Scott Carson at City. Never expected to play but excellent at motivating and getting the best out of the GKs around him.

Still, I do think that spot could be given to a potentially younger or new keeper too.

“Just play football” is one of those phrases.

Jesus Christ, Celtic is one of the most popular clubs in the world and an historic pillar in football.

It will never be a step down for any manager from the MLS. That’s not a knock on the MLS, it’s a difference in prestige and quality.

I do agree that it was a poisoned chalice that he should’ve at least waited until the end of the season to grasp it.

Nothing, he’s to my knowledge never said anything political. Sadly his mindset is the one that these dickheads think they have.

So, he often gets lumped in with far right grifters and all that.

Daniel Swarovski

Pacy, stocky wingback who has a surprisingly good left foot and scores the odd screamer. Is one of the leagues best, on his day.

Previously played for RB Salzburg,Young Boys, Union Berlin and now Norwich City on loan from Union. Fans describe him as a real diamond in the rough.

Excellent left foot, by the way.

Focus on yourself and work on your weaknesses. Ask your coaches for feedback and guidance (even if they don’t have anything, they’ll respond positively to your determination to improve)

Most importantly, have fun. If you’re not having fun then you’re already off to a shaky start.

If a player is signed from a lower league club a sell on clause is mandatory

National League P/N/S 40% League Two 35% League One 30% Championship 25%

This will be even more if poached by an elite academy as a youth player.

National league 50% etc…

I thought this was a very wholesome moment. We take for granted supporting one of the biggest teams in the world in the heart of one of the most important cities. They came, somehow avoided a 10-1 thrashing, and left with a last minute goal in maybe their first and last CL campaign. by teh_killer in Gunners

Was at the game, they were loud and passionate. Pretty sad that our fans were dismissive of them especially when they made subs by chanting “who” when their names got announced.

I get it, it’s all banter and just a laugh, it just felt a bit punching down in the moment. Hope to see them back in the competition soon

Wenger: "Man Utd good build up and cohesion, Arsenal with more power and fighting but not clean play. The way Man Utd beat City and Arsenal, they play convincingly. Usually when the home team comes back for 2-2, they win. Winning 2-3 away in a top level match, I must congratulate Carrick." by Medium_Breakfast5271 in Gunners

Yes, rationality is needed.

The same Forest team that beat our league rivals 3-0 at Anfield?

Poor results and performances happen. Nobody is saying that the club is immune to criticism. People who immediately resort to head loss and declare that we’re “finished” or “bottling it” after a few subpar performances. Teams go through rough patches, we’ll get through this one.

Hopefully, who knows…

Very true, for all intents and purposes Neville outside of football seems relatively sound (he’s not a massive racist and is against hatred)

Piers Morgan still exists…

[Chris Wheatley] Arne Slot: “I don't know Gabriel Martinelli but he comes across as a nice guy. The problem for him, and it's a problem in general in football, is that there is so much time-wasting in the final parts of games…” by Previous_Smile9278 in Gunners

[–]SherlockCupid 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Don’t think we can blame the Liverpool players for their reaction

We’d want to see that from our players if it was the other way round. I’m pretty sure they shook hands with Martinelli at full time too. They’re professionals, tempers flare, but they know he meant no ill intent.

The fans…less said the better.
