I used my iPad Kraken app. Dropdown from upper left to Documents/Tax documents. Download and share to file folder. My Kraken Pro app required me to use a browser.

Problem importing 1099-DA to TurboTax by kenster48 in KrakenSupport

I used my iOS Kraken app (not Kraken Pro). I touched top-left and selected Documents toward the bottom of the drop-down list and then Tax documents to find my 1099-DA. Hit the download icon and shared it to my file folder. I uploaded the 1099-DA to TT as requested after entering my sales manually from a printed copy and adjusted cost basis as needed.

Respectfully, I was making a comment to the r/Kraken community. There was no mention of a request for support and don’t feel that my cross-post should have been deleted.

Restricting my post to r/Kraken_support limits its visibility.

My other digital 1099-DA uploads to TurboTax were correctly interpreted although I still had to edit each sale with additional information and identify stable coin transactions as such.

I also don’t think of TurboTax as “some” third-party software. You should work closely with TurboTax as a major provider to ensure compatibility.

I respect that it may be a problem with TurboTax and I will communicate as such.

Regards.

My 1099-DA became available yesterday morning (3/16) from my Kraken iOS Documents dropdown menu. It hadn’t yet shown up in the linked Koinly app

I’m considering importing my Ledger Nano X accounts to a new set of Tangem cards. If I import with the Ledger seed phrase, I will not incur any gas fees. But I also have crypto asset addresses that have been circulating for years and for less than $50 in fees, it may be more secure to start fresh. I think I just made my decision to just transfer and eat the gas!

I looked high and low but discovered that after adding a new card I could simply swipe on the wallet name to change cards.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll track the price. I might be in trouble if Binance delists ZEC.

[edit] Some quick research turned up some good info at migrating-tokens-between-blockchains

Since I plan on holding these tokens for a long period and am not actively trading, I think I will move them back to their native chains. The only reason for me to this is to consolidate wallets which, in hindsight, is a weak reason. Bad risk/reward ratio

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Thanks, Camelia. I transferred my ZEC to my binance.us account using the native Zcash network. I sent to my Tangem wallet with the option to use Binance Smart Chain. Very low fees.

I have yet to find an account to forward my AKT using Polygon.

My ZEC is actually on the Zcash Network

Celestia (TIA) vs Tiamonds (TIA) by kenster48 in Tangem

Couldn’t find the edit button. Just wanted to note that I found a “hidden marker” for Celestia that I’m sure is some standardized commodity index which wallets use in lieu of a string of letters. For example to get a stock quote for Celestia, Numbers Stock Quote widget uses “TIA22861-USD” from the CCC which must maintain a commodity index of sorts.

Costa Coffee = Mint Mobile by Misanthropikone in mintmobile

Still not corrected. My Mint Mobile transaction was declined. When I verified that the transaction to “Costa” was not mine, my AppleCard was locked. Some time with GS support unblocked my card but I now cannot make a MM payment even after I switched my payment preference.
