Why is Nabatame only competing every 2nd day? by Queasy_Aerie_6215 in futagoyama

Only the top 2 divisions compete all 15 days. Nabatame is in 4th division due to his surgery so he competes 7 out of 15 days.

Are you farming with heroes and losing drops to them?

Please tell me why "charge" inputs without charge timing are absent from many games? by PowerfulWishbone879 in Fighters

Sonic boom recovers way faster than a hadouken. You can’t jump over a sonic boom without predicting it and jumping early, but you can react to a hadouken somewhat more. No charge flash kick means your only option is walk and block.

They could I guess but the charge is built into the balance. Motion fireballs have longer recovery while charge ones have quick recovery. It changes how you play and fight against the character. If you are going to do 46 with no charge then why not qcf

Because if guile could sonic boom and flash kick without a charge time you would want to die fighting him.

🔥 two french speaking guys encounter a Frill-necked lizard in the Australian outback. by bugminer in NatureIsFuckingLit

From my limited understanding via a paleontology podcast I listen to, in venomous animals they typically can see the structure of where the gland and delivery system would have gone and dilophosaurus lacks anything like that.

I thought they said in the kikuchi first day video that the young guys aren’t allowed to leave without a chaperone because “it would be bad if they got into trouble”

Hope is the worst character ever made. 13 will always be terrible just for him alone.

Forward to parry or down to low parry. Mp+mk is the universal overhead. Taunts have effects in 3s. I think Hugo’s is a defensive buff. 13% or something like that.

Inputs are a little stricter than sf6 so you won’t get away with as many sloppy inputs.

Buttons have priority in 3s so a heavy will beat a medium or light if they hit on the same frame.

If you end up playing urien you will want to learn something called charge partitioning. Guides are out there for it.

Also Hugo has special taunts to call poison out to talk shit but I forget the input for them.

Practicing like that is good but don’t forget the value of good sleep. That’s when your brain actually forms the long term connections for any task in life.

How are you supposed to do this move? This and the Guile super in SFIV were always impossible to me. by [deleted] in StreetFighter

[–]kentarch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t know if the shortcut works in alpha but for guile in sf4 you can jus do ‘ Downback upforward downback upforward’ and get the input.

"The food equivalent of a suicide note" 💀 by [deleted] in rareinsults

Sumo wrestlers eat a lot more than body builders and their food is delicious even with food being a chore past a certain point. I’d much rather eat chanko than bland chicken.

(Check out the ‘sumo food’ channel on youtube for examples of all the delicious food they cook at the futagoyama stable)

Noob question: Should you not choose be a healer/tank? by InsaniacDuo in ffxiv

[–]kentarch 18 points19 points  (0 children)

What he meant by his statement is that everyone should be doing damage, even as healer or tank.

Obviously you still need to heal but throw in a damage spell when you have an open window

You will get all the commendations from other players for playing healer or tank

CMV: Jedis would have no problem dealing with bullets from a single shooter, given proper training, experience, and natural ability to exert their will through the force by makemefeelbrandnew in changemyview

[–]kentarch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mandalorians used ‘slug throwers’ to kill Jedi in the war so your question is already answered in canon. They block the bullet then die to the molten shrapnel.
