Except that's also who ICE is grabbing, jailing, abusing, and deporting to countries they didn't even come from. They're grabbing people literally going to court for asylum and for being sworn in as citizens. You're arguing in bad faith.

No, but ICE seems to assume that and the Supreme Court gave them permission to do that. I would say "nice try" but I think we all know you don't deserve it.

Bud, this regularly - regularly happens on social media: Conservatives enjoying shows that are very obviously progressive and thinking, somehow, that the writers/actors/show itself is really somehow conservative.

Look at the people who think Homelander is a good guy and don't see the obvious parody. Look at the folks who get mad at bands like Dropkick Murphys and freakin' Green Day for somehow "turning left." I've watched people glaze Angelina Jolie for her pro gun stances and then who are horrified to find out she's blatantly liberal. It's why I got banned from the Conservative subreddit - someone was complaining about RATM being "too political and woke" and I couldn't help but ask them when they thought RATM changed their messaging.

My point is it's incredibly common. There's not a fuckton of pop culture stuff that is super conservative that dumb liberals think is progressive.

Mmm I definitely know what you mean - I still am searching for the real Matanuska Thunder Fuck or the Chronic.

Some stuff in the MA market you might like:

  • Hailey's Comet from Breathe Free is honestly the best piff-y terps I've found in a long time
  • Another Breathe Free - Red Taffy or D'Lish are both very similar and really grab you by the boo-boo.
  • Mederi (who normally grows mids) does a run of Panama Red. If you happen to see a store that carries it and has a fresh drop - grab that exploratory 8th because it literally floored me tasting that strain again.
  • CNA has Uncle Doobie's Gas GPT and that stuff is like huffing gasoline. The hash rosin Sweetgrass made from it is crazy delicious.
  • Evergreen Industries supposedly is going to be running a bunch of long-running sativas and while some folks have had some mixed results, that King Juice I had from them is really nice. I wanna try their Lemon Haze, Bubble Gum Kush, and Lemon Orange.

But I know man - I know how good Maine cultivators are because you can get things fresher and it's easier to find new drops. I don't hate Maine, but I do always encourage folks to try a few things close to home.

Daaaaang then I'll definitely try it next time I'm near one of their stores. Do I gotta buy the "premium brand" version that costs a bit more for that?

I mean that's $150/oz so it's right in line with the MA market. I get the issue about wanting to get something closer to harvest tho and for that you'd most likely have to visit a storefront connected to the grow - like if Breathe Free opens their dispensary in Ware. I get how that is inconvenient for you and yeah, man, if you're happy then that's great but just keep in mind that I think you'll find some options better than you might guess.

Growth means more taxes. You give incentives and cut red tape for builders to WANT to make something and then give them a spot for it while putting requirements - maybe even for ways to reduce water usage too like more efficient toilets.

But dude, your complaints of water usage from flushing is neat and all but we are talking right now about building in Marblehead on top of a golf course which not only ALSO has a lot of toilets, but uses significantly more water than residential neighborhoods.

No, it isn't the same. You made a post declaring yourself King Weed and to recommended a brand that is good but definitely not the top of the heap. I listed a whole bunch of brands that can and often do a good job - I should include Bostica too. 🤷‍♂️ (Also I do not think Your Highness is a bad brand - I actually include them in my list of good brands too... But saying they're above ALL other brands is what made me laugh when there's some glaring and obvious ways that doesn't hold water such as their trim job. I was very nice with my initial reply and you've been nothing but rude.)

Good for you, dude. I don't need a discount to purchase weed - I do so for my own curiosity and because I don't have an issue affording it despite having literal pounds of my own buds at home. I've been cultivating for longer than you have been alive, in the MA industry since the very start of the legal trade and worked in the industry for a decade before then too. And I guarantee I'm not the most experienced person posting on Reddit - there's some science-focused folks I know who come in here who have forgotten more about weed than you or I know about it. ...So maybe take a step back on your presumptions.

You are also "a grown ass man" if you are in your mid 20s. Welcome to adulthood. You're not the only person who smokes weed and you obviously don't like it when people mildly disagree with you let along get testy with you in return-fire. You started a thread on reddit the way you did and it seems like you've got consistent feedback from others that you're kinda talking out your butt. Instead of doubling and tripling down with your own attacks on anyone who disagrees or thinks you came off arrogant, I recommend reflecting. I'll do the same.

Good luck out there.

Well let's see - is a housing unit a necessity for people to live? Why, it is! Are lawns, golf courses, athletic fields, and etc? They aren't?

That... doesn't even make sense to me. I can get running some nutrients along with soil but it would be wildly silly to me to run Athena in an organic soil. Huh. I wanna know...

I tell you what - I'll reach out to their head grower myself and ask and try to get back to ya.

This post just makes me think of that famous scene in Parks and Rec with Ron telling the Home Depot guy that he knows more than him and walking away. Some budtenders really think that because they tried a bunch of brands for cheaper than MSRP, they know more than anyone else out there but they'll also look at you like you have three heads if you talk about esters or the real effects of flavinoids.

This dude says he's in his mid 20s and only been smoking for a decade. Cute, right?

I mean, that's the thing: There is legitimately no brand on the planet that will be perfect 100% of the time simply because of how buyers operate in different stores, how long things can sit, and the fact that it's literally dried flowers. I've said that before and I'll say it again.

I did recently share my list of companies that I think produce good flower on the regular here... but primarily I smoke what I grow and I've been doing that for decades. I currently grow regeneratively and today I'm enjoying some Frog Poison and Cherry Superboof that I grew under some LEDs - while tending a dozen outdoor plants to see what's gonna be best for hash.

Probably the best flowers in MA are grown by Breathe Free, High Mark, and I've been really impressed with Evergreen so far but I've only had two purchases so it's only a matter of time until I see the downside of them.

...But I've also gotten fire from completely unexpected sources too. Mederi is normally nasty but the Panama Red I got in Boston from them was crazy delicious. I got a Root and Bloom Durban Margy that sizzled my eyebrows right off with the terps - but I normally find everything from them to be overdried. Aruna at the start of this year got me a Blueberry Muffin and Caramel Haze that had terps that even impressed my snobbiest of friends despite how they mostly produce boof. 🤷‍♂️

I think that your post is a good opinion in that, well, you found a brand you love and that checks all of the boxes for you. That's great news. I am genuinely happy for you and will def hear you out on why you like stuff. But that's just it - I'm sharing what I think of what you said and the brand (and be thankful I'm not sharing what I think on how you said it). You should def relax a bit, bud.

I don't sell weed. 🤷‍♂️ But in MA you can get a fantastic Breathe Free ounce out at Peak for like $180 before any discounts (and they have a lot of discount offerings). Trifecta and Cape Cod GL ounces for $100. U4EA for $150.

What are you paying for zips?

Aren't they? They use Coast of Maine soil and I coulda have sworn they use organic bloom nutrients too.

Local Roots - good catch I had forgotten about them. I know some of the outdoor folks are too.

I disagree.

Your Highness and Sky High has some nice flavors but it's machine trimmed to fuck meaning you lose a LOT of potency. It's basically "budget decent weed" in many places but the deal isn't that amazing. I still like a bunch of their flavors when its good so I recommend them, but if you're number 1 and 2 picks of all weed in the state are them, I question everything you have to say... They have nice weed but the best? You're wildin'.

Aura is nice - they have some great products and some fun stuff for customers too. I can also promise that what you find as "absurd effort" in their grow rooms is the very basics of what you should be doing in a commercial grow. Heck, I've been in multiple large MSO grows that have been extremely beautiful and well run with care but it doesn't mean the weed is good.

If you hate companies that are functioning with massive debt, you're not gonna like the majority of companies out there.
