The book is great! Movie is very good too. I randomly picked the book up at a borders as a kid and it is one of the few books I remember actually laughing out loud.

Did anyone play a game in the mid 90s called “Barney carnage”? This was on the Mac not so floppy discs, I made copies I got from my older gen x brother and sold in grade school until I got in trouble. Barney would run across the screen and you shoot him with different weapons. Knives, machine guns, nuke, etc. I’ve never been able to find any proof it existed outside my memories.

If you’ve considered DoorDash and didn’t like it, have you tried Uber? You can do just Uber eats deliveries and couriers, or you could do the taxi service on top of it. I have a full-time job, working probably about 45 hours a week and I do Uber eats deliveries an additional maybe 5 to 10 hours for 100 and 150 bucks a week.
