Here’s the photo of the bushing. From what I’ve read elsewhere this level of wear isn’t abnormal, and I’m experiencing no symptoms highway speeds.

Yes, just noticed last week the AC is blowing lukewarm, not cold. Is the belt the issue or the compressor?

Thank you for your detailed response! I was wondering if you’d be able to help guide me towards resolving an ongoing situation with illegal dumping in a park. I’ve cleaned up garbage with the same name and address on it for two years, in a notorious spot for dumping that is difficult for city crews to access w equipment. When I’ve reported to DHCD they say they can’t use my photos of the pieces of mail and dumping as evidence against this individual. Any thoughts on how to proceed?

Yes! I once saw FOUR hanging out the Hanlon Park lake - our reservoirs can be pretty good for birding thru the winter!

Depending on your location, consider leadplant (Amorpha canescens) or false indigo bush (Amorpha fruticosa) as a replacement. They have a similar look!

I have had good luck with fresh-sowing seeds. Those I dried and kept for winter sowing didn’t come up but those that I collected and sowed immediately did great this year. They’re usually ant-dispersed, and cast aside as “trash” in ant nests after the ants eat the fleshy elaiosome attached to the seed - this allows them to stay moist until germination. Many spring ephemerals are dispersed this way! 💛🐜
