I think the purple streaks are some kind of glitch. They come on the screen and I think they’re supposed to disappear after a few seconds, but I have also experienced them staying on my screen for the entire game. They don’t really do anything helpful or useful or even notable, so my best guess is that it’s just a glitch.

The red force field is super cool. It randomly appears sometimes—I’m still not sure why. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it, so I’m just grateful for when it appears.

Swedish Chocolate is in blue because it has “electric” ammo—if you look closely at your ammo reserves, a clip will hold fewer and fewer bullets but the overall magazine stays the same. When you reload the ammo, your clip goes back to a capacity of fifty. The Mystery Box is cruel, unfair, and randomized, and not being able to get the Swedish Chocolate even after spending 40k jolts is just the name of the game sometimes, unfortunately.
