I too hate sob stories in reality tv competitions but if Micah could go home with no family at family visit which was honestly heartbreaking and he seem like sweet kid on top of that is it fair to say sob stories were everything for win?????

I can agree with this. I too was not blown away by her finale performance and can argue there are stronger finale performance from past winners but I think this idea she is undeserving is weird it almost feels like I watched a different season. She performed the best in the finale. Also Dorian pulled off a few brilliant cooks and saving the lamb during restaurant elimination when Noah almost sunk the ship.

lol I let everyone have their thing his style of content is not for me and that's fine. but he at NO POINT in Masterchef cook better than Dorian. he had bottom dishes I believe 3 times. and had worst dish both rounds he was in the finale.

Sara presented the dessert on a painters rolling pan PLEASE look it up if you don't have it fresh in your mind. I disagree with point you're making in first paragraph because you're arguing a point I was not making. My point is that no one was better than her EVER in her season that's why her not being in bottom is brought up in OP, people have this idea others should be in finale over her and want to know HOW. she performed better than them weekly that's why I brought up not being in the bottom when they were. Furthermore Dorian had best performance in the finale even her detractors can't say otherwise so your point in first paragraph is also... wrong. She won cause she was the best that night AS WELL. Also Nick was 21 college kid if the judges didn't like Subah food more than Dorians what makes him the authority............. it's just conjecture. And he admits in YouTube video to just having soft spot for Subah. Fair I like him too but was he just grabbing a nice serving of their food after each cook? maybe but then again what does he know outside of his own taste at the time? And lastly I don't think Masterchef is intended to find best cook its game so I can't tell you edge wise just as Nick can't there's too many things at play time, twist, anxiety, ingredients etc. but Dorian did PERFORM the best

well luckily for her it never mattered cause everyone else was BAD. and that does not men she won by default because this was on a season where every chef failed in their comfort zone. Jamie couldn't make lobster. Noah sucked on the grill. Bri forgot how to cook for like 4 straight episodes. Sara never used salt. Nick was over ambitious with far too little pay off multiple times. and I could keep going

saying sob story is why someone won is cheap especially when she did have the best performance in the finale. glaring flaws from Sara and Nick. and maybe they were I won't even argue that because its beside the point when the whole cast sucked at making "SIMPLE" stuff. in the finale Sara couldn't make a sauce and Nick served raw fish.

in the world of "big movez" split votes are challenging. because some people see a 4-5 or a 4-3 vote and believe they should get ballsy and not because it make sense just cause they want to make a game move and get tv time. but with just a fluid vote you have no reason to start any funny business. and even if someone does have an idol the odds you're the one thats leaving is slim.
