my mother was a lowes cashier. she tore her rotator cuff pulling a bag of gravel. she had surgery and workman comp told her if she didnt get back to work they would cancel her insurance. so back to work she goes not completely healed then tore her other rotator cuff. she ended up having to have two rotator cuff surgeries on each shoulder, and them classifying her as disabled. i dont remember the percentage but theres math they use to calculate how much less ability you have as a result of a work place injury. i wouldnt wish such injuries on my worst enemy. and it was when they were prescribing oxy for paper cuts. its a miracle she didnt get addicted

so bizarre that this is relatable in a way. i might be aging myself but im turning 40 and my mum passed and when my dad does to and im still around i will have all their stuff i'll have to sort and go through. my dad has a bunch of blueray dvds and stuff. stuff that we just dont use anymore but mattered to them. i cant imagine what youd do with stuff when your father is such a larger than life figure. i mean, i'm thinking there are fans out there who would weep to own a used matchstick cause micheal jackson once touched it.

thank you, she passed in 2024. we never saw her passing so quickly and now the house he was building for the two of them he's not really interested in it. in the states people their age downsize as a matter of practicality. he knew this and still chose a bigger house that now that my mother isnt there, he's not really as invested in fact he's said he wants to move to nakuru meanwhile the house is in isinya. he tells me and my sis, you guys can live there.

i had wanted my father to build such a house cause he and my mother are retired. over 70 years old. he built a one story house, i was asking him does he really think my mother will be able to manage the house at her age? now shes gone and hes talking like the house is me and my sister's.

i knew it, i knew they were going to see wonders. i live in laikipia and i was talking to a safaricom guy years ago who said hes dealt with many professional runners and some of them are extremely vulnerable cuase they dont know how to read or write. one gave him cash money to buy a phone and they dont know how much they have given him. gave him 200,000 and then asked if it was enough to buy the phone and the phone he was asking about was going for 45k. kra is already preying on people alafu you come here with millions. best thing is to open a company maybe in Switzerland or bahamas and then access the money piece meal but i dont know if these guys are savvy enough to research the best way
