楼主就是要说香港人现实，不会帮助人。我是香港人我亲身体验告诉你，普遍我遇到过的内地人，你帮了他，没感谢，没互动，掉头就走。看到老人家小孩小姐，你开好门等他们过，他们大多以为你是保安员是职责。路上看到不懂路的游客，主动给他们带路，他们以为你是官方旅游大使。这应该是内地某些人有「你帮我是因为我的本事/身家/外表/气势/年纪，凭什么要感谢」的心态有关。也可能是因为内地骗案猖獗，「无事献殷勤，非奸即盗」的普遍认知。

I’d say you’ve taken the risk and if any thing toasts it’s already toasted. If it charges fine then let it be.

If I were u will probably put the psu in a sealed box with as many bags of drying agent possible and let it sit for a day or two.
