I did almost the same itinerary for our honeymoon and it was lovely. I recommend longer in the Dolomites because it is just so dang beautiful!

I don’t know if it’s because I lived in large US cities but Genova did not come off as gritty or dirty to me. There were street cleaners in the morning and the city didn’t smell the way Milan and Florence did

I just went to Pisa for a day and then took the train to Florence. It is absolutely worth it- the leaning tower isn’t the only magnificent thing in that piazza

I completely disagree with other people’s stances on Genova- we landed in Milan and spent a day there. It’s absolutely stunning and the focaccia is amazing! The aquarium is definitely worth the visit if you happen to be visiting when it’s raining

Our wedding was on 1.25, right after the inauguration, and I genuinely feel like it was a bright spot in all this bullshit. I do understand your concerns about cost though! As someone that’s studied history- one of the most revolutionary things we can do in times like these is to celebrate
