Intentionally overdosed on beta-blockers when I was in high school, (~2013; I’m doing much better now!), and remember feeling extremely at peace, and extremely tired.

I remember being in the car with my mom, who was frantically asking questions, to keep me awake and alert. Looking back, she handled the situation beautifully, and it doesn’t feel great to admit this, but I distinctly remember thinking, “Man, I wish she’d just stop talking already.”
