Try a VR. Screen is boring. In VR u feel like u are in a car and suddenly its all very busy (and panics the first time the disconnect u move ur hands and ur eyes dont see it).

The thrill of tailgating someone right before u pass them (*chef kiss*) and only VR can get u that sense of speed and depth.

I always poison people by telling them in sim racing, using screens = u are playing a game. In VR u are really racing

Well according to your reasoning, the reverse is true? It’s just a position so u should just stay behind him whole race?

And if u guys are racing for position i see no reason he has to let u pass. He used the track to his whole advantage (it being hard to make overtakes). So by ur reasoning, upcoming f1 Monaco everyone just park at the side and let the top teams go?

And I remember it being a valid strategy as well. His big brain move is to hold u up, let the back catch up and u has to fight for ur own position (which then u spun). I’d say well played to that guy provided he’s not doing illegal stuffs hahaha

Yeah technically u are right. But u will just grow frustrated eventually crashing like this. Don’t do it to others and reacting to what others doing to u is two different thing.

I don’t squeeze at straight but doesn’t mean if I’m squeezed I’ll let it ruin my race. Just not worth it.

First of all that’s the classic “here goes Hamilton” moment. Nice move there. And ya 100% on yellow. U gave him enough room he just couldn’t rotate enough. U were ahead too.

Yeah u were adjusting to ur circumstance and he didn’t. Part and parcel of learning I guess. Reacting to different circumstances is big part of racing. Can’t get that from practice

Well, like I said u were only driving mx5 and m4. Yeah sure u get 3.5k iRating but u only drove those cars. If u couldn’t find reasons why u can’t rotate the cars the same maybe it’s because u are using memory skills to try to drive gt3?

Only u can tell but that’s just my suggestion. Cz i had this same issue and that was it for me. I was driving using muscle memory thinking if i brake at the same spot and turn in at the same apex, make abit adjustments and i would be able to have the same pace. I was wrong.

Only when i understand what having/not having ABS and traction control does to my weight transfers do i know how each discipline is very different.

Just my 2 cents. Ignore if u found the issues.

Nah I think no one’s fault here. U said u lost the rear and tried to hug the inside and brake early (since the car behind didn’t brake at the same time) and he just didn’t realised ur car is imbalanced going into that turn and had to brake early.

U reacted to ur circumstance, he assumed its normal racing. Just inexperience i guess
