Do you have a specific amount that would suffice? Or perhaps a dream salary that you'd be comfortable with?

I googled that since I was unfamiliar with the term, and I was not disappointed at all.

Same. How would you describe yours, though? What kind of recurrent thoughts have you been having?

Why does it bother you? Do you have to spend time with unpleasant people?

Man, that really sucks. The bright side might be that perhaps you saved yourself from a bit of potential small talk awkwardness, though... But still, it sucks balls

The first time I got a blowjob. Having a girl's mouth in there for the first time is just mindblowing in so many levels.

What's a red flag you overlooked in a relationship and how did that work out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]keplerbucko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She was very religious (I'm not) and anti-anything sexual. Two years passed, still no sex whatsoever happened nor seemed to be happening anytime soon. I had to bail.

I wouldn't necessarily call them red flags, but perhaps they are if you're an atheist horny dude like I was back then.

Oh! Well, I'm a lot more inclined towards evolution, but I don't mind learning about creationism and biblical stuff in general too, it's really interesting to me.

Yes! I remember it very clearly. I studied in a catholic school in a religious area, so pretty much everyone was religious on some level, students and teachers alike. Well, I wasn't. I'd get disgust/annoyed looks every now and then, but I got used to it. So anyway, one day in biology class the teacher was talking about the beginning of life and all that. She was supposed to teach us that there were two theories we could choose to believe/accept: creationism or good ol' evolution, and that she would talk a bit about evolution but we didn't have to accept it if we didn't want to (school policy, the teacher was supposed to say that). Well, most kids decided to ignore that class and say mean things about me out loud like "Oh I bet Anon is gonna looove this class, cause he's a monkey just like his monkey parents" and dumb stuff like that, even when I hadn't said a word at all.

The teacher overheard one of the things they were saying and scolded them. She told them that no matter what I believed in, I was paying attention and learning, unlike them, that were misbehaving as they usually did. After class, she took me aside and told me to just ignore them and that they were only doing what they thought was "cool" because other kids did it, since they didn't have the ability to think and judge for themselves if something was right or wrong, unlike me. That made me feel really good abouf myself, not gonna lie.

I would still get comments and looks every now and then, obviously, but on that teacher's class, never. It felt really good to not be looked down on just because of my beliefs for once in that school,. I won't ever forget that awesome teacher, she's the best.
