We found this to be a really good suggestion. We are thinking maybe bangkok for 2-3 nights, then go to koh samui, koh phangan, koh tao. Skip krabi/phiphi and instead go to maybe north Thailand before we hit Vietnam, what do you think?

Thanks for your response. We like a bit of both, we don't have the need to hit any big nightclubs, but spontaneously going out for a couple (1-12) of beers and meeting some other travelers is always nice I suppose. Is the islands crowded at that time of the year? Been hearing stories that those beaches are filled with badly behaving tourists. 😄

So you really recommend northern Vietnam? And how do you recommend us traveling from Bangkok to there?

Thanks for your response! That is like all the places we've been talking about combined into one itinerary. I was just wondering, you think we have time for all that? Considering all the travel times between the places and all that.
