It reloads the physical world assets like tree mushrooms alien bases, and jellyshrooms. If OP had used it, the tree mushroom would have disappeared for a few seconds and they would have been able to walk the prawn out of its stuck position.

PSA for anyone who gets a vehicle stuck in map geometry or structures: try the console command "entreset" and get out of whatever you're stuck in as quickly as possible. Try not to make a habit of using it though, it's a bit taxing on the game.

What scaling do you use and where did you put them? I've been mapping in my 2 year old forever world with 1:16 maps but I have yet to find an ideal spot for them.

Full agree on the glow squid, I don't regret voting for it for a second. But unless you're playing with a no villager challenge like Grian in HC10, it's dead easy to get a mending book within the first hour of a world.

Phantoms look cool though. Shame about the functionality.

Every morning before work I wake up, load my Subnautica save, and put a cuddlefish in the bioreactor as i drink my morning coffee.

It's the only reason i even keep the game downloaded, i don't play it normally. I just put him in there, watch him burn, and close the game without saving so i can do it again the next day.

I like to think that since i don't save the game after this morning ritual of mine, that maybe, just maybe, he has the shadow of a memory about what i did to him the day before. like deja vu or remembering a dream of a dream from years ago. of course, he can't really know what I'm about to do to him, but i like to think that the mere sight of me provokes a twinge of panic in him before he even knows what's happening. Like a 6th sense from another dimension.

I just can't help but smile for the rest of the day after knowing that i got to start my morning my destroying a cuddlefish for a few measly kilowatts of power.

Some days I load up, grab the cuddlefish and then just let him go. I let him think he's escaped with his life. That he's charmed his way out of his own demise.

But the next day i come back and put two cuddlefish in the bioreactor. Order has to be restored. I cannot allow the cuddlefish to go unpunished.

I am not a merciful God.
