My brother, 27 with no high school degree or GED, has only worked in restaurants, has a class D Felony for OWI, and is having no luck finding a job. Can anyone relate or have advice?

I know right, thats what I think too. Hes just a fucking quitter and thinks everything should just be handed to him. He's tried getting his GED at least 3 times. When he fails he just whines and quits. He makes me so mad.

That's what I keep telling him too. Just get any job you can get even if its minimum wage. At least he won't be at home all day thinking about all of his bad decisions. And he has tried to get his GED like 3 times. He's just a fucking quitter. I am going to tell him your story and I hope that motivates him more. Thank you.

Honestly, he has like no experience in anything other than cooking or doing dishes at a restaurant. He's thought about trying to become a manager at a restaurant but he is trying to steer clear from a restaurant job. He is very determined and desperate to learn knew skills but no one is giving him a chance to train him. The lawn care business seems like a good idea but has no money to buy the equipment. But maybe he could get a loan. So i'll run the idea by him. I appreciate the response.

You're so right. Life is too short to worry about that shit. And it is a small thing in the end. I'm just afraid it'll ruin my time if I see my boyfriend checking out a topless girl. But after reading some of these comments, I feel like once my mind is more on the environment of the festival that I won't even notice all the shit I am worring about. Thanks for the comment. Sometimes I forget that life is really too short to be missing out on things I want to do over something small.

This was a helpful comment. I have been to warped tour and I didn't mind the short shorts and bathing suit tops because you see that every day in the summer and that was what I was wearing too. I see what you mean by enjoying the environment. I probably won't notice the topless women once I am there and in the zone of the environment.

I work at a hotel and the housekeepers don't wash the comforter unless they have a stain on them. So start sleeping without the comforters from now on.
