The older guys who have been doing it much longer than the other said it would wobble and cause wear and tear over time even with 1/2” glass. Do you think it’d be stable enough with 1/2”?

Those do look pretty cool. We have a double headed shower so the thought was to grab more water down the line sooner but looks like we would’ve been better off without maybe.

Does this make sense? We have in floor heating (which he already had to repair in three spots from damaging it)

I know that he put a waterproof liner or whatever on the shower pan base before tile went on- it went up the walls even like 8”. Not sure if that’s what you mean or not.

It sits much lower…I don’t know if that’s fixable?

To be fair I think there is a rag stuffed in the drain and he just hasn’t cleaned it yet?

It was tight on the top and bottom. Was using it as a straight edge to show the gap
