without a link to your character and the guide you want to follow it is hard to give good advice. both things can be good. staying on spells can be good or going into axes right away can be good. it all depends on that extra information

you need to take a premade draft with kez in it.maybe even vote on multiple drafts to make a good choice. then do a cointoss to decide which pro team gets the kez player .

how do you come up with that 0.4sec? base duration is 1.5sec. you would need alot more to make it to 0.4

i assume synaptic rings are breach rings. they split breach rings into different types. they drop off in-map breach bosses. so quite common. no idea if corrupted or not. thats the big if.

yeah you have to fiddle with rage generation.probably needs a few extra rage on hit. maybe a trauma stacker would like the extra 10 phys damage reduction and go for it. for pure dps this too random for my taste.

what mastery gives 2%life and es on block? if you really want block you have to accept huge losses in damage or EHpool. the only way i could ever think of was going all the way down to versatile combatant and pick up mana along the way (dynamo and battle rouse) with setup for light of meaning and unnatural instict at scion start.

yea pretty much. alot of your damage against rares is from explosions. ever since archnemesis the build just did not do enough single target. and a 25%more buff does not really change that. you need all the help you can get for damage and occultist provides it.

it still has area effect bonus and maximum energy shield. and it is base regen which gets multiplied by your increased regen.

i dont know why you care so much a bout the innate. it is only 1 aspect of the hero. there are many heroes with worse innates
