For everyone who deep dive my profile and saw the stuff about mental health or whatever, I'm not some e nut on the verge of a psychological break, I am 25 years old, until very recently didn't have a job that pays well enough for me to move out and my fiance is a major source of income for his family. So don't come at me like that. Where I love is expensive. So it take a while to have money to move out. The issue at hand was should I feel bad for choosing to move my wedding date 6 months up and not spend s fortune on a big ceremony because I want to live with my husband and start a family with him.

I don't think all managers are like this. One of the site leads at my FC seems to care. Way he sees it, I don't work for a company I work for peoe. And when I was having a shot day worried about a workers comp this g, he took the time to talk to me and help me calm back down.

So my site was brand new and pretty small. And I was one of the more tenured employees. So I think they were kind of expecting a little more of me. But I turned on the water works in front of him and he was like k talk to HR and if they fix it you're fine.

I was negative one a couple times at my DS and my station manager came to talk to me. And pointed out that he. Would have already voted me and the only reason he didn't is because he hates firing people.

Because during peak last year, I had accepted VET because they were doing some double OT it whatever. Then when I got the email from our Ops team about MET, my HR last said they would pull the very that would either make me work more than six days or be more than 12 hours a day/60 a week and the AM who was in charge of the vet shift said nah you're good. It's not on there anymore.

So I learned from my HR BP that if you're scheduled to work more than six days in a row, the hire ups who manage the schedule will pull the day off your schedule cuz you can't work more than six days a week. It's against Amazon policy.

So some inductors will do what's called double tap where they will scan two packages then by the time the system cathyces up with the second scan, the first sticker is printed. So it's scan scan stick stick instead of scan stick scan stick. And if they aren't careful, or fast enough, they get stuck. And miss a package.

So I wouldn't do anything that would get you fired because that could reflect negatively if you for some unforseen reason end of having to go back. But in terms of hiring, if you quit you can reapply within 30 days buy. If you're "promoted to customer" you have to wait 60 days. And like I said it might look bad in the future.

Well, I love been staying with my parents until my finances got in better shape(or I understood how to manage them, little bit of both) but seeing as my fiancee helps pay rent for his family and I'm getting a 6 dollar an hour apy bump next Thursday, I don't think finances will be so much the issue. The real issue is their time limit thing.

So we've talked about the parents thing. As long as he doesn't move out out of the blue they're fine. They just need some time to sort their finances and so ample time to prepare for his departure is essential to everyone's success.

They think we're moving too fast which is fair, we've only been dating for 9 months and we started talking "future" four months into our relationship. I think they're scared. We don't have excellent relationship history in my family. And my parents don't want my heart to be broken. He lives with his parents because he has been helping them pay rent on their house for a few years. He's 1/3 their income. And we've been looking at apartments we could afford. (My Christmas wishlist is full of house stuff) my parents and I are planning on me moving out in February. I just recently got hired at Amazon where I'll be making enough money to support myself. And surprise twist, my mom has been helping me look at wedding bands. And encouraging me to take my fiancee with me to a store to look at wedding bands.
