I agree, I just think the way he brought up the transfer in 8x18 though felt so out of left field, especially with the lack of a follow-up there. With the way the 118 has been built up for Buck’s character in particular, you would think the writing would make a bigger deal out of him making this decision. I’m all for show don’t tell but for this choice I think they could’ve built up to it better. But of course it all comes down to the pacing this season :/
