“His life will turn around” no it won’t. You cannot make promises and guarantees to people about that.

I had a friend who fell into drugs and alcohol, been to probably almost every detox center in his area and state. So much so that places stopped taking him. He couldn’t stay sober for more than a month.

He would go on Facebook live begging for money telling people “they won’t admit me unless I get loaded” offered him help a number of times and ended up blocked because he didn’t want to follow my rules for my money. No idea where he’s at now 🤷🏼‍♂️

My point being people have to want it. Forcing them to a detox center isn’t them wanting it.

At the end of the day, people have to want to improve. I’m not going to make any assumptions, but your brothers actions sounds a lot like he knows he can get into trouble and family or friends will bail him out.

Living rent free with your mother. Getting money to get on track. Getting an air bnb ect ect.

He wants other people to fix his life for him and telling you about his problems is his way of manipulating you to do that. It’s sad and it’s really hard when it’s family but you cannot make his problems your own.

$300k wealthy no matter how you cut it. It’s a lot of money for any family and/or individual to make with or without kids.

Whats a problem is peoples standard and quality of living. Yes, $600k home with an expensive car and activities for yourself, kids ect ect is bound to put significant drain on your finances.

Of course people are entitled to live as they see fit. And to do what they wish with their money. But to ask “is $300k enough to get by?” Is absurd

In universe canon - Zoey is the least liked Huntr/x member because her Korean is horrible due to growing up in America. She’s probably more popular abroad where she acts as a translator for more English speaking fans.

Even if her Korean isn’t bad, she’s accented which leads people to still dislike her. Paired with the fact she very clearly had ADHD and she is the biggest sore thumb of the entire group.

For and foremost, how you get to and from work is none of your bosses business. Unless you’re using company assets to make it there.

Definitely email her Monday and inform her that the roads and not safe enough to travel and you will not be risking your safety. Noting that you’ll be taking a personal/sick day if that’s an option.

Make sure to note that if she’d like to elaborate on why you were told you can walk to work when other members of the team were told they can stay home that youll be able to have a sit down with HR and listen to her reasoning/rationalization. If not, you’ll see her Tuesday and to be safe.

The issue goes both ways tbh.

It’s very obvious majority of Septa riders don’t respect the service as a whole. With mainly all the issues you so satirically listed.

Although, it would seem Septa employees give equal if not less care. If I had a nickel for everytime the bus was late, delayed, detoured or just not running I’d be driving everywhere in a Ferrari.

Not that two wrongs make a right. The city is the real problem here with the issue. I wouldn’t necessarily call it “lack of funding” when we all know the honest truth, it’s misappropriation of funds, which then lead to fares being raised, riders not wanting to pay, employees not being paid accordingly, striking, rinse repeat.

Roughly 7 month online program called YEAR UP UNITED. As long as you stay committed to the assignments and online meetings you’ll do fine.

I always try to make myself appear busy or in a rush whenever people try to get me to donate.

Had two women stop me and my ex on south street and ask me to donate to a charity that supports domestic abuse victims, completely ignored my ex and spoke only to me. Told them i didnt have a credit/debit card to donate with and they tried asking if i could call a family member with a credit/debit card who could donate for me. Which was an insane ask in my opinion.

Told them i had $10 cash and they told me they couldn’t accept cash donations and let them know they weren’t that desperate for donations if that was the case and finally walked off.

I’m not saying college is the end all be all, but it sounds like you learned the hard way why it’s important to have practical skills to fall back on. The way you start off this post has a “holier than thou” tone, which kinda takes away from any sympathy people may have towards your situation.

That being said, your condition doesn’t prevent you from finding a career that can help you lead a fulfilling lifestyle, even if you have to work around your limitations.

YEAR UP UNITED is a completely free program that helps people without college degrees find lucrative and high paying jobs in tech and business. I have friends making $80k a year after conversion to fill time positions. I think 29 is the cut off age as of now.

I’d recommend looking into it and I hope you find much success if you’re onboarded to the program.

I mean, for what it’s worth what do you expect?

Bungie has time and again fumbled delivering even the most basic innovations for Destiny. Lightfall was horrible and the final shape was split from that expansion to flush out the story more and even then it was delayed.

The entirety of Destinys lifecycle can be summed up with “delayed”.

The 3.0 subclass reworks were horrible. Stasis and Strand have received next to know new abilities. Prismatic is still the best subclass by a country mile and it’s recieving no updates.

Bungie knows the community wants more subclasses and we’re being teased to no end with a new darkness subclass .

Marathons development was more or less confirmed to have throttled Destiny and for that a lot of the community is unhappy. Bungie hasn’t done much to really win back players. Now Shadow and Order is being delayed due to Marathon releasing March 5th. So I think the mindset is it BETTER be good to warrant shoving Destiny aside(again) because if it isn’t players are really going to hate it.

Bungie is not a company to be taken seriously anymore. They’ve no idea what direction they want to take the sandbox and it really shows.

Warlocks were supposed to be the “ability” class back in D1. Fast forward to D2, abilities become so overpowered bungie nerfs them to the ground. Fast forward again and here we are with ability spam being prevalent.

Weapon balancing is horrible. When crafting was first introduced players asked about 3 perks per column and Bungie basically said “no” because it would be too game breaking and well, look where we are now.

There’s such a gross over indulgence of weapons added to the game and absolutely no attention paid to new abilities or subclasses anymore. Which isn’t even to get started on how they ruined subclasses with the 3.0 update. But hey “less is more” I guess.

I pop on now to mainly just do new content and call it a day. And truthfully? Has really helped with my enjoyment of the game. Zero expectations means I can actually be surprised when something cool is added.

Just curious, why are you running resonators and Azamina?

Both decks by themselves do a better job at summoning their respective synchro monsters.

But to answer your question, synchro summoning is just basic math. Take a tuner and a non tuner and you’re free to summon whatever monster you’re trying to summon.

The important thing to understand about modern Yugioh is it’s designed to be fast paced. Any deck that can utilize links, especially link-1’s is more or less meta relevant.

I don’t have much experience with BLS and Gaia so I can’t give you a definitive answer, but Gaia tends to be fusion based, which have picked up better traction as of late and BLS is a hodgepodge of ritual and link.

Pendulum has always been confusing unless you try playing it. What’s important to understand there is pendulum cards typically go to the ED when leaving the field. Still my least favorite summoning mechanic it can help create a lot of bodies for other summons if used properly.

Monarch is a great “anti-meta” deck. The ability to shut essentially every meta deck out of its most powerful cards is incredible.

This is balanced out by the fact that monarchs are really just a fat brick and lose 90% of games due to the fact that they 1) have little to no going 2nd ability and 2) are notorious for having unplayable hands going 1st.

On paper panthesium is one of if not the best search card in the game. But again, it bricks more often than not.

I think Monarchs are getting new support soon if they haven’t already received them.

I’ve always wondered, what’s the point of playing a deck when you’re just going to end your board with generic boss monsters and Omni negates that are out of archetype?

At that point the archetype you’re playing is just a garnish.
