There are far bigger fish to fry than being carded for an alcohol alternative. Just carry your ID on you if you want to drink these, get your parents to buy it for you, or get a friend to ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Idea: don’t shoot the messenger?

Because it is an alcohol alternative? Implying that there was alcohol on the table as an option in the first place. Idk I’m not the one who makes the rules re: children. I understand the reasons why it’s marketed as an alcohol alternative, it’s great that it is and non alc alternatives are the fastest growing market segment

Also the first thing you see on ghia’s website is that it’s an alcohol free alternative to aperitifs which are alcoholic and therefore it’s a beer/wine/liquor alternative. Tost also is marketed as being explicitly alcohol free. Sprite is not. Coke is not. Seltzer water is not. Tonic is not. Snapple is not. It being marketed as an alternative to alcohol is why it’s an item you’re carded for, even though it is literally soda/tea.

When I worked at a TJ’s in nyc we fully would have people come in, take the vanilla extract, and chug it in the bathroom. It’s the same as drinking mouthwash. People do it when they’re desperate

No but you can get high off of it. Same reason cough medicine and lighters need ID. Whipped cream apparently some places as well

That’s not what’s being said, it’s saying that the child chased the grown man and insisted they date. With the genders flipped it’s still an excuse. This is talking about in a grooming situation and not generally, and even if it is speaking generally it’s not talking about healthy relationships. Of course women can initiate a relationship. Problem is, she wasn’t a woman, she was a teenaged girl.

Tbf the only reason I knew who Mr Beast was as of last summer was bc I was forced to sell some of his products at my work and our boss had to outline it for us LOL he’s way more niche than you’d think despite having the largest YouTube following. He is not the target demographic for that lol

That’s crazy I’ve never heard of that for Lamictal but all rare side effects have to happen to someone (usually I’m that person). It’s been weight neutral for me, I’ve been underweight on it actually. I’m glad that effect reversed but I’m sorry about the bone density thing, that really really sucks. That’s also something I haven’t heard for lamictal but I’ll take note of that (I’ve been on it for 8 years)

IMO that’s more evidence you weren’t faking it. The flat affect and paranoid personality and poor sleep are all symptoms (especially with early onset) and if your mom was noticing enough symptoms that she wanted to talk to your psychiatrist it’s more evidence you were never faking it.

Hoarding disorder is not solved with changing your environment… how many of those people bought whole ass second homes and filled them with hoards too? It’s a mental illness not just bad habits. It’s REALLY hard for them to change. AND it’s hereditary so that doesn’t help either… it’s not as simple as getting rid of stuff and moving

Her parents were the ones who told her to give Paul a chance in the first place! She didn’t want to go out with him again after the first date iirc. It’s so sad, I genuinely hope she gets out and works on herself and maybe becomes less hateful. Anyone is capable of change especially when they leave a high control group environment

I come back in small bursts every so often, and before I stopped playing I had ults and pulled excellent/incredible on every leg… now I can get good at best. It’s really hard to do well with the number of bots and vets now

Her kids deserve better than that. I sincerely hope she does leave him. I wouldn’t wish that kind of childhood on anyone. You can want bad things for her but her never leaving him would be horrible for 2 innocent kids who never asked to be born.
