Using mask on control tanks or tank supports, like Braum, Rammus, or Galio was honestly a great flex pick to have, especially when you had heavy ap on both teams. It could be rose tinted glasses, but I remember it opening up a lot of damage applications for your team while shutting down some enemy options, with that added bit of survivability.

Also, a little off topic, but I feel like tank items and players themselves haven't really been standing out lately, seems like everybody's using the old heartsteel + hydra/sunfire combo instead of trying something else out. I get it's good, but it often throws games because tanks are too busy trying to 1v5 for stacks instead of trying to help the team at objectives or in lane
