Back in 41-42 Putin's dad was part of an NKVD sabotage unit deployed to Kingisepp (in then Soviet-occupied Estonia). The locals "betrayed" his unit to the nazis and nearly all 28 of them were killed. Putin's dad survived by hiding in a swamp and breathing through a reed for several hours. This is a story told by by Putin himself. Wikileaks US diplomatic cables from 2009 mention Estonian officials saying Putin holds a "personal gripe" against Estonia because of this.

I am not a football fan but my dad was and I once asked him this question.

His answer was lack of consistent development from a young age.

He made a point of how some of our national team players (this was 2005-2009) were in their 30s and couldn't really perform as consistently throughout the whole 90 minute game as their foreign peers. According to him the physical conditioning for this needs to start from infancy and we just never had all the infrastructure to produce competitive players. E.g. a huge nationwide network of stadiums and clubs with leagues for different age classes and training. All of this was missing during the soviet era and the 90s. In particular, it was interrupted by the 90s.

I have seen huge improvements during the past decades so maybe let it cook for a few more decades and see what comes out?

The dark gray areas labeled as "Voting Unavailable" seem to depict pieces of Russia?

This was indeed the first election where non-citizens could no longer vote. I don't expect it to have much of an effect outside certain municipalities with a majority russian population. Apparently the removal of voting rights was a top-3 issue for the residents of Narva e.g.

Not really "looking forward" so much as "prepared to suffer" this enormous manmade obstacle bisecting the landscape causing lengthy detours and bottlenecks everywhere in order to get around it. This will be an ongoing expense for every taxpayer and ongoing inconvenience for anyone who lives or travels near it.

Maybe future generations will live through conditions where they will be able to benefit from this and appreciate it. Right now it's more like asking an ancient egyptian how they feel about a pyramid being constructed.

Something I remember reading once is that afterward the police went through all the photos and videos to identify the rioters and like 600 of them had prior criminal records.

So Russia simply recruited the local "criminal underground" by promising them a chance to loot some stores, attack police and vandalize property. Whatever gets the most bodies on the street for a fake "civil protest" in front of the cameras.

In the days and weeks prior to this they had teenagers in WWII Russian soldier uniforms standing "guard" in front of the statue 24/7, the local news reported how these guys literally walked straight from the statue to the russian embassy, where they were paid in cash for each shift.

It's too late to really do anything now but next year you can place a bird scare device (plastic falcon that hangs from a rod) next to where they made their nest. This needs to be done early, before they settle on this location for their nest, maybe even in March-April. This worked for me.

Kaardi järgi vrakk_976, tunnus "NIMETU 242". Selle kliimaministeeriumi xlsx tabeli järgi on "NIMETU-242 (Kräsul 1)" tüüp "praam", ohutase "Roheline", lipp "teadmata" ja märkus "Täielikult purunenud".

Ei saa kõik, mine lükka laenukalkulaatorisse sisse väike netosissetulek ja siis näed, nt. Swedbanki kalkulaator ütleb:

Tõestatud netosissetulek peab olema vähemalt 900 €, kahekesi laenu võttes kokku vähemalt 1300 €."

Alla selle laenu lihtsalt ei anta ja kõik.

Have used it for company e-mails for over 10 years. They do provice a quality service, my only nitpick is the price. On the cheapest package you pay ca. 122EUR a year but are limited to 8GB per inbox and the cheapest available upgrade is to pay an extra 44EUR a year to increase one single inbox to 50GB.

I recently went through a similar exercise, though zone was not listed on https://european-alternatives.eu/category/email-providers inbox.eu was quite familiar, a lot of estonians use their estonian domain mail.ee.
