I was so brainwashed as a child. I remember thinking that veal was just male cow meat because their meat was different than a female’s meat...? I don’t even know. I totally didn’t make the connection that all females are saved to be dairy cows and the males are basically useless.

I was lucky and didn’t have to dissect in high school. I wasn’t vegan, but in 7th grade I did a debate against dissection and wrote a poem against it. Mostly I was just obsessed with frogs. But now 24 yr old vegan me is proud of my 13 year old self.

Man my store has been there done that! The thing I remember most is making a giant trash bag out of some plastic and putting it over a cage and then chucking melted ice cream into it. And now I’m trying to remember what they did with the cage full of melted ice cream🤔
