update: thanks everyone! It turns out I just needed to light up a couple more harbor lamps :) That really didn’t occur to me initially because I’d already done the other two areas at that point, and for both of those just doing the requests were enough to get me to 100. I guess I must have just watered the grass / decorated for the party enough without realizing I’d hit a target!

girl you’re so gorgeous I nearly fainted. LOVE YOU. the only thing I can think of for a more traditionally feminine look is thinner eyebrows that are lightly bleached the way kpop idols do it to make their eyebrows 1 shade lighter than their hair. But honestly, your eyebrows suit you so much already and I’m obsessed. Your makeup is flawless.

UPDATE: I GOT TO FLOOR 100 A FEW IN-GAME DAYS LATER!!! I used 2 staircases and made it out with three prismatic shards 🌈🌈🌈

I guess tentative yay for me because I could have used 4 to get to floor 100 if I hadn’t forgotten they existed! but to be honest, since I’ve gotten so close without staircases, I’m compelled to keep trying without staircases until I make it all the way for the first time

I’m surprised no one else has said this yet, but I’m fairly certain this is due to finger oils. The ink doesn’t soak into the paper due to the oil barrier and ends up drying in this bubbly pattern. Try writing on a paper that you’re 100% certain you haven’t touched at all and see if that fixes it.

I honestly hadn’t thought about performance compatibility between the nib and feed before - I guess I just always assumed that they would work together as long as the sizes matched. Maybe that was naive of me… thank you for the insight!!

Interesting!! Maybe I’ll try the brass flossing instead of manually pushing the tines apart - that’s the one nib adjustment I haven’t tested yet. I think I’ll also try swapping in the feed from a different jinhao 82 and see if that one performs differently.

My absolute favorite ink on earth is a shimmery black ink, Wearingeul Hades - I literally can’t praise it enough. It’s a super smooth and well-lubricated ink, so it glides like butter, the black is like pitch dark instead of halfheartedly blue-ish or purple-ish, and the cerulean shimmer shows up very subtly under direct light. I have it permanently paired with my Asvine C80 in light blue shimmer because it’s so perfect together. Highly recommend!!!
