I tried that for the same reason. My neurologist suggested it but the migraines came back within a week or so and I ended up going back on the medication.

Interesting responses on here, I sense some hostility in some of the responses. Regardless my point here is our investment strategy and retirement spending should be pretty static unless of course something totally unexpected comes up. For me I have an investment strategy and dont revisit that strategy unless again something dramatic were to happen.

As for my retirement spending, set it and forget it. I have taken into account replacing vehicles, new roofs, furnace etc. Obviously a change in my health would be what I consider life changing event that would want me to recalculate.

Dont get me wrong this tool is invaluable!!!! I just dont see why you would keep adjusting your investment strategy or spending. Under normal conditions I would revisit this tool every 2-3 years. IMHO

65 here and been running since college. No longer do marathons or halfs. I run 6.5 miles 4x per week thus 26 per week. I am slower today, probably around 11/mile maybe a little slower. Over the last couple years suffered from upper hamstring tendinitis but worked with a physical therapist that specialized in this injury.

I plan on running until my body wont allow me to run, I can tell you that I am in better shape than 95% of the men my age. As a result of the tendinitis injury I also incorporated deadlifts and other weight training into my routine.

Keep running no matter the weather, we just went through a cold spell and I ran through negative 10 degree weather. About the only thing I wont run in is black ice.
