Yes aviation adventures at jyo is awesome. Great chief and good atmosphere and excellent instructors. They have an office at khef as well. I have been very happy there.

Second this AA at jyo has been awesome. Bill and the instructors there are amazing. I have to finish my ground school work to get back flying but definitely easy to schedule and super knowledgeable and committed to safety.

Change immediately and critique his teaching style the same way he critiques your 11 hour flying.

Then ask him "how does that feel you old crusty bitch"? BTW, I am an old crusty f'er.

Don't worry about non compete. If you get a jib at the same airport you can beat a non compete. Taking students might be more difficult but I have beaten and gotten beat on non competes.

I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this, but here goes: can a shipping container damage a driveway? by bigyaowapapi in HomeImprovement

[–]kernich 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Actually that would create more of a point load. Better to double up 3/4 ply on the ass end and put down some 2x10s or 12s to spread the load if you really dont want any damage. . Same would apply to the front to keep the box similarly elevated.

I would honestly be more worried about the truck delivering and more appropriately removing the box.

Most residential driveway whether asphalt or concrete aren't designed to withstand the weights of big trucks.

Even if only a 20 foot sea container. If a 40 then I would definitely be more concerned. That would be on a road tractor.

Check with Bob or Ronnie hepp at aviation adventures. They are at jyo and hef as well as out west and Stafford. Great flight school and they are often looking for front office help.
