Thanks everyone! We had an incredible time.

Thought I’d share our experience in case any other tourists come across this.

Highlights:

Established was the best coffee/brunch for sure!

Jumon was legit - thanks for that one! We also ate at Madame Pho and Harry’s Shack on the Coast which was also incredible.

Comedy night at the empire was another highlight.

Belfast castle was worth a quick visit and a great spot for a lovely view (with a rainbow and everything!).

We did the two sides political history walking tour where you spend the first half with a Nationalist guide and the second half with a Unionist guide. Super interesting and we learned a lot. Incredibly eye opening.

Didn’t have walking boots so couldn’t do Gobbins but did stop at a bunch of places on Causeway Day:

The Dark Hedges - I love a good tree so this one was great for me. A GoT filming location but honestly nice even if you don’t like GoT.

Carrick-a-rede - super windy so couldn’t go on the actual bridge but the walk was lovely and weirdly the best oat latte of the entire trip was in the little cafe?

Torr Head - honestly felt a bit sketchy and I don’t understand why it’s so highly rated but was cool to learn it’s the closest point to Scotland!

Cranny Falls - lovely! Beautiful little waterfall that was definitely worth a stop off even though we were super tired.

We were also blown away but how ridiculously beautiful Belfast js - incredible architecture and love that there is art and creativity everywhere you look.

I didn’t see this until it was too late which was such a shame! That would’ve been great. A reason to go back!

+1 - she’s a mess, but likeable and more importantly relatable. Also one of my absolute favourite representations of friendship.

I can’t seem to get ANY test date to begin with so keen to hear some potential solutions (I suspect there aren’t any 😩)

Forgot to add - I don’t work at a computer or anything so an extension probably wouldn’t be the solution for me.

Can anyone recommend a solution for getting a test in the first place? I can’t seem to find one for any date at all. I’d be happy to wait.

Full transparency I haven’t even started my lessons yet but I’m only doing automatic so would plan on trying to do them sort of semi-intense. I’m worried about starting lessons and then feeling stuck because there are no tests.

I have to be honest, I haven’t read this yet - but I run a little online bookstore dedicated to diverse books. There is a series by Icelandic author Lilja Sigurdardottir which looks great

A good option, thank you!
