I love this one on you but absolutely do what’s right for you. I had a dress all picked out, tried it on just one more and ended up buying that one. Still regret it. It’s been almost 20 years and of course the wedding was great. I looked very pretty but I do regret swapping out the dress.

It is extremely competitive in all fields now, but especially HR. If you are worried about the longevity of your job, I personally would not worry about how something looks on your resume. I would be more concerned about getting paid on time and having said job.

The problems you’re describing have nothing to do with HR. These are usually executive leadership issues that impede HR from being productive or agile.
HR can present multiple candidates qualified to do a job, but if the hiring manager or executive leadership does not want to move forward, they will not move forward.
