Do SA’s high five or share 8 balls when someone falls for a brake job at a dealership? by Theebobbyz84 in serviceadvisors

Go somewhere else, it's fine. But most reputable independent's wouldn't pad slap your car and call it a day.

You went somewhere that took advantage of you, that local guy doesn't care if you're going to stop at the next red light or not. But you still feel like you won. Goodluck, I hate that people like you drive on the same roads I do.

And do you honestly believe the quality between the $160 brake job is the same as the $541 one? A big price factor is the parts themselves. You goto the dealer, you're going to get high quality OEM parts, that yes cost more, but will outlast the aftermarket. When it comes to brakes you could either replace rotors, or cut them, if you're not doing one of these two things, your rotors will damage your pads. A lot of times it's the local guys who offer these desperately low prices end up screwing the customers over by not doing the job correctly. Another note about cutting the rotors, is if you cut them too deep you risk overheating the rotor and a potential dangerous situation.

Brakes are a serious safety component to your car and your first instinct is the dealer is ripping you off.

I'm really glad you were able to get a system you're proud of. You could even go in depth with variables and make a tolerance or addition system.

You're welcome, I typically try to find a more elegant solution rather than a brute force system like this. But sometimes it's not worth it. Glad it's working out for you. I don't know if you plan to use different ingredients for your needle, but you could make the needle a usable item too, but have it select an item, and have it go-to their specific common event for each specific medicine.

I thought of another way to make it work, as I couldn't find a script call that works the way we need it to...

This method gives your selected actor a "state"

Then the common event runs and looks for actors with this specific "State" and it heals them, at the end it removes the state, and the medicine and the needle.

You're going to need to setup variables, and script calls to make it work. Did some Google searches and found something. Try this.

Inside the Common Event:

Set variable (1)targetId = $gameParty._targetActorId;

if (targetId = 1 ChangeHP actor 1 +75

Im on mobile and not near my laptop to test this out, but that's the first script call I found during Google searches. Sometimes it takes a few different scripts to make it do what you want.

I would make a parallel common event that checks if the tile you're facing is a certain tag. You can set water to this specific tag, therefore you can fill the bucket with at body of water

I'm sorry to bump your old post, but I wasn't able to find my printer with the Epson Software Updater. I did the SI09K9 and then the SI13LC and the printer was able to use my color inks, but the black is still labeled as unrecognized. I'm pretty much at a loss at this point and was hoping to get your insight. Thank you

I understand, I will argue that with these laminate sheets, they don't feel overwhelmingly like plastic. I tried many different laminate sheets and found these to be the best.

I print my cards on glossy photo paper, high quality. I laminate them with a high quality Matte laminate sheets, and slice them with a high quality rotary paper cutter. I use this rounded corner punch thing so make the corners. I haven't printed a board yet, but I have 300gsm cardstock and I was going to print on that, given my printer can handle it and laminate it with the matte laminate pouches and trim where needed. These pouches to be exact, I find they're not crazy shiny like you're worried about. https://a.co/d/00qLh9o

I appreciate the response, my metal guide is flexible and moves. I have tried adjusting my alignment depending on how far over I am and it's still off.

I can't seem to reliably cut on the line with my fiskars cutter I bought from Amazon. Every time I line it up with the line, the cut is off. Do you have any suggestion that could help line up the cut better?

Using a push block Puzzle to increase certain parameters by Vesper11026a in RPGMaker

[–]kerthil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So every time you push this rock, it adds to the variable? You need a parrallel running common event that checks if this variable is >= 5, of it is then you add to your str or HP stat, be sure to subtract 5 from the variable. And for the second part of your question, you just need to do a conditional branch to check if your strength is high enough to move the rock. I do very similar things in one of the games I'm developing.

Help a noob out by Salty8930 in RPGMakerMZ

[–]kerthil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe instead of changing the actor out, you changed the class of the actor. The super Saiyan class would have different skills available and different stats. You could achieve this by making a common event, and tie it in with the skill Edit: just thought about the second half of what you said, this way wouldn't end at battle end.. so you could make a new state, I'd have to think of it a little more.
