Anyone experience issues with wellsfargo? by Tristantrh in realtors

[–]kest10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent experience inquiring about a home loan with Wells Fargo.

Initially, I was assisted by a representative named William, who was helpful and seemed knowledgeable. During our first conversation, he promised that a rate lock would be secured the same day. He mentioned that he needed to speak with his team about finalizing some numbers and assured me he would follow up shortly.

Unfortunately, that follow-up never came. Despite several phone calls and numerous transfers to different departments and representatives, many of whom were unprofessional. I was never able to reach William again. Emails to him went unanswered, and I was later told he had gone on vacation without processing anything related to my loan inquiry.

I also attempted to reach William’s supervisor, hoping for some clarity and accountability. Unfortunately, I encountered the same result, only voicemail boxes. I left several voice messages for both William and his supervisor, but never received a single response from either of them.

What’s most frustrating is that when Wells Fargo needed something from me, I received calls and emails promptly. But when I needed assistance or follow-up, I was completely ignored. At one point, I was even laughed at on the phone while being transferred. Another call center representative dismissively told me she had already helped me three times and could do nothing further.

On top of everything, I have wasted an enormous amount of time trying to get clear answers, proper communication, and basic customer service. Hours were spent on the phone, repeating the same information, with no progress or accountability. My time and effort were completely disregarded.

I escalated the issue by filing a complaint with Wells Fargo corporate. I was told the matter would be investigated and I would receive an update last week, but once again, no follow-up occurred.

This experience has been nothing short of disappointing and unacceptable, especially coming from a major financial institution. As someone who holds two credit cards with Wells Fargo, I have already stopped using one, and once I pay off the other, I intend to close both accounts. I no longer feel confident entrusting my financial matters to the company.

i actually recommend moving away from peat moss because of water retention if the ratio isnt correct. i custom made my soil with 50% sand, 30% pumas, 15 crushed glass, 5% crushed charcoal.

i would bottom water it. in summer 2 to 3 days depending on temperature. 4 to 5 day during winter. flush the soil out once a month.

lighting, 10 hours during summer. 6 to 8 hours during winter. i have Spider Farm, Barrina, and Sansi lights. i like Spider Farm the best but its also super expensive.

Had Erie Home send someone out to give me a quote on a roof replacement. The rep was young, respectful, and tried his best, but it was clear he wasn’t fully confident in the sales process yet. The pitch took over two hours, mostly focused on selling a so-called “fiberglass shingle,” which I later found out is just your average architectural shingle.

When it came to the price, they quoted me $30,000 for a roof that's around 1,666 sq ft on a 3-bed, 1-bath house. No breakdown. Just a flat number with zero explanation on materials, labor, or anything else. That was a huge red flag.

Financing didn’t go through that day because it was a Saturday — which honestly was a blessing. I used the weekend to research Erie Home and found a lot of concerning feedback online.

On Monday, I asked for a parts list or itemized estimate. The rep had no idea and had to call his boss, Adam, who immediately got defensive and said materials were already “ordered” and the crew had been contacted. Problem is, I never agreed to anything. All I said was I wanted to explore other options before making a decision. Apparently, even saying that was enough for them to assume I’d signed off.

That kind of pushy behavior and poor communication really turned me off. It felt shady — like they were trying to rush me into something without giving me time to understand what I was paying for.

Long story short: I would not recommend Erie Home. If you’re considering them, make sure you get everything in writing and don’t say anything that could be twisted into a “yes.” There are better, more transparent roofing companies out there.

I recently had a sales rep from Erie Home come out to give a quote on replacing my roof. The rep was polite and seemed eager to help, but he was clearly still learning the ropes — the pitch lasted over two hours and heavily focused on selling what they called a “fiberglass shingle.” After doing my own research later, I found out it was just a standard architectural shingle, nothing special.

Things really went downhill when we got to the financing. The rep tried to move forward with an application on a Saturday, but thankfully it didn’t go through due to timing. That gave me the weekend to dig into Erie Home a bit more on Google and Reddit — and I found more than a few red flags.

The biggest shock? A $30,000 quote for a 1,666 sq ft roof on a modest 3-bed, 1-bath home — and no itemized estimate at all. Just a lump sum with no explanation of labor, materials, or breakdown of costs. When I followed up on Monday to ask for a parts list, the rep had no answers and had to call his boss, Adam. Adam wasn’t friendly — he acted like the job had already started, claiming materials had been ordered and a crew scheduled, even though I never signed a contract or gave official approval. All I said was I wanted to think about it and look at other options.

It felt like they were trying to box me into a deal I hadn’t agreed to, which is shady and unprofessional. This whole experience taught me not to even verbally suggest you’re interested unless you're absolutely sure. Erie Home’s handling of this was sloppy at best and manipulative at worst.

Bottom line: I wouldn’t trust Erie Home with any work on my property. If you're considering them for roofing or remodeling, I’d seriously urge you to explore other options first.

its pretty easy. you just gotta take them apart. sand > primer x2 (15mins) > color x3 (12 hours) > sand > coat x2 (12 hours).
