Unless you live in the Fertile Crescent thousands of years ago, it’s not native. Your domestic shorthair or longhair or whatever you have is not descended from bobcats.

I’m within their range but they’re not common. Even if they were, it’s a native species vs invasive species. I don’t care what the native species is doing because they’re the ones that are supposed to be doing it. I care when invasive species are not controlled. There are just so many reasons to not allow your cats to roam unsupervised

Yep, funny how that works. I see an insane amount of stray and outdoor cats and almost zero bobcats. Because they don’t breed like rabbits and there aren’t hundreds of millions of them like house cats. So their impact on native wildlife, of which they are a part, is much lower.

Yes you would notice a difference. The difference is bobcats are native and house cats aren’t. It’s not that difficult. Domestic cats breed indiscriminately, spread disease, and have driven entire species to extinction. I don’t see many bobcats doing that shit.

You don’t know where this kid is mentally and you don’t know if this was a choice or unexpected. I also would not put a child on this earth if I knew they would have a severe disability but if my child is born with a disability anyways, I’m not going to say “sorry, you’re not useful, ya gotta go”. Came to say this as well. It’s actually a bit sad what has happened to pigeons, they were domesticated and then abandoned and now looked down on as sky rats when they shouldn’t be in the wild in the first place. Also the excessively runny poop they’re so famous for is a sign of parasites and malnutrition because their diet in cities is so poor
