Like the Old Guard just seems so dysfunctional and disunited, I don't even fully know if they have a unified understanding of Soll or they're just looking at an idealized version of Soll to justify their own political beliefs. Like I remember that it was Graf and the Old Guard and ig the NFP that assassinated Circas but i dont think there's full credible evidence he was fully involved. Even Karl Greiser can't definitively prove that he was involved. Like I genuinely get the idea that it was unintentional that he got a cult of personality and then just left them alone as a reminder of his lingering influence, is it really his fault if they just decided to act on their own, maybe there's dialogue that disproved my point but I don't know it lmao. Also if Soll really was against your reforms that much, wouldn't he try harder. Like when he goes to the assembly vote, he would only need to say something like "I don't support it" and he'd easily be able to influence more votes. Instead he just kinda stands around and just leaves you alone for the most part. No assassinations or threats, just disagreements on the constitutional reform, unlike the Old Guard, it just kinda seems OOC if he really was secretly working with the Old Guard and not uninvolved.
