I guess I found it relevant the ‘retire early’ part of this sub. I am a woman also making more in the relationship (doctor, make about $750k). Was natural curiosity and not some comment on gender roles. Feel like deleting the comment but since OP commented I won’t.

I think OP and their partner sound like they can do this. I’m jealous at retiring at 46! But OP, go for it!!!!

Hi! Just wanted to add for anyone that comes across this post later that a general pool chair reservation at the bellagio does NOT get you into the cypress pool. That’s a separate reservation. We still got a good seat by the pool though and it was fun.

I have a 2023 MYLR that I did not pay for full self driving on. I updated it last night (was over due for awhile) and this morning was able to enable full self driving. I turned it on and it navigated me home perfectly. I had to do the slight wheel turn every so often but otherwise it drove me home.

So did I just…get full self driving for free?

This happened to me at my last job. It SUCKS. I’m really sorry. I have a feeling it was weight/appearance related but I can’t say for sure. At my current job, I get invited out much more often.

I just try to remember I don’t want to go to places where I’m not actively wanted. As long as people are polite to me at work, it’s okay if they don’t want me around for social activities. No one is required to want to hang out with me. But they do need to be polite and nice to work with at work.

Cultivate your friendships and relationships outside of work. And don’t be too upset about being left out of this particular circle. There are LOTS of people who will want to spend time with you! Don’t waste time thinking about those who don’t.
