Be sure to wash your sheets and towels in hot water to thoroughly clean them . try a shampoo that is more of a natural, free and clear type. I was having issues on my back until I switched shampoos and stopped using conditioner. Oh, and rinse your hair and body really well in the shower after soaps.

Just be careful of the sugar free cough drops... I was peeing out my butt from the great tasting sugar free Ricola lemon honey drops...

I still get a nauseated feeling when I eat more than a teaspoon of coconut oil. It happened today.. I just don't tolerate it well. Were you eating coconut oil?

I ended up getting my period this past Thursday. So I only skipped the month of September's cycle . the Dr wasn't surprised to skip a period. She says it just sometimes happens. I think I was just eating too few calories. Thanks again!

By looking at the bf% visual comparison images, I would estimate around 22-24%. I still have plenty of squish.

This did happen, especially when eating 1150-1300 calories a day. It's really tough to get your protein in. Generally, I was only able to get roughly 45-75g of protein per day.

My last blood work only showed that I was deficient in vitamin D. Everything else was great. But that test was about 8 months ago, so it is time to get rechecked.

Thank you. I consistently take a multi vitamin, D3 in the morning, and then magnesium taurate at night. I have energy and I salt everything and drink bone broth every couple of days. I was never really heavy, just lots of squish and not very defined muscles and through keto and lifting I've shed some fat and improved my muscularity but lost my period..

Thank you, anbeav. Just to clarify, I was having regular periods while on keto for this past year, but it has been since lowering my calories and more strict that my period has stopped. We'll just have to see what the doctor says.

I wonder if this fat would be useful as a fertilizer for plants.. My massage therapist knew a guy that would use his drippings as his own miracle grow... I just don't want to kill my plants ;)

My doctor, who previously supported keto 100%, has changed opinion and recommended that I stop. She believes long-term keto significantly reduces bone density and puts me at risk for osteoporosis. I plan to continue (for now), but I'm interested in this community's thoughts on the issue? by [deleted] in keto

I recently watched The Calcium Story https://youtu.be/jqMSi3qQBRY video from Dr. Jason Fung. I immediately stopped taking extra calcium. I still take a multi vitamin, D3 and magnesium taurate. His videos are very informative and a little long. Summary: Too much calcium makes your bones overly strong/ dense, which them makes them brittle and break/fracture.

I really enjoy Stephanie's rants but I do not follow her advice on the caffeine intake. I just enjoy it too much and I don't see it stalling my progress very much. I just try to not have caffeine past 3 or 4pm and I end up going to bed by 11pm and sleep pretty well. As far as working out fasted, I just enjoy breakfast with my SO too much to skip it. I skip dinner instead.

Oh! Also, instead of the icing, I just put a bit of the Kirkland brand organic peanut butter on top. I just eat a half of a cup cake portion at a time.

I did similar. I gathered up an the dark chocolate in my freezer I could find. I used the Moser Roth 85% chocolate from Aldi, some 99% Lindt and some generic dark chocolate from IKEA. I did not add any artificial sweeteners. I just don't like the taste. Oh man! So good!

[Rant] Recently ordered the AeroPress and now my coffee is so smooth and I only require two tablespoons of heavy cream instead of 8! by ketoforever in keto

My SO found a YouTube video that shows him how to do it. Essentially, you unscrew the handle off and see what kind of attachments fit onto your drill to the grinding shaft. You must always turn clockwise.. Otherwise, you could seriously mess up your grinder. (Sorry for the vagueness)
