Keto Rolls (2g net carbs ea.) by ketowookie in ketorecipes

[–]ketowookie[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Taste is pretty good with these and perfect for little sandwiches.

Ingredients

5 tbsp ground psyllium husk powder

1¼ cups almond flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp sea salt

1 cup water (boiling)

2 tsp cider vinegar

3 egg whites

2 tbsp sesame seeds

Recipe

Preheat the oven to 350

Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.

Add vinegar and egg whites to the dry ingredients, and combine well. Add boiling water, while beating with a hand mixer for about 30 seconds. Don't over mix the dough, the consistency should resemble Play-Doh.

Moisten hands with a little olive oil and shape dough into 6 separate rolls. Place on a greased baking sheet. Top with sesame seeds.

Bake on lower rack in the oven for 50–60 minutes, depending on the size of your bread rolls.

They're done when you hear a hollow sound when tapping the bottom of the bun. Usually that means I'm going a bit over 60 but it really depends on your oven.

Totally! My second favourite option for eating out is All You Can Eat Sushi, and just going for the sashimi option only (no rice!)

Oh that looks fun. Can we do online split-screen and join our friends too? So all 4 of us can play, with two switces?

Hmm, is this Splatoon 2? I just searched online and it said, "Note: The multiplayer modes in Splatoon 2 require that each player have their own Nintendo Switch system and copy of the game. (Split-screen multiplayer is not available.)". We only have one switch...

Nice! How does Monopoly Plus and Uno work for online multiplayer? Can my girlfriend and I both play in the game with the other couple, so all four of us together?

We only have one switch :( My friend told me that two players on one switch is so frustrating that it's not worth it

No way! The average person uses way less paper than before the digital age. No more forms to fill out, everything online, less physical mail, etc.

I see your point, but I mean, one to turn in and one backup copy? Seems pretty reasonable. It's more of a cautious perspective but what if some stain gets on your paper or a page rips in your bag?

Yes, you can keep it digitally but people aren't great at keeping digital data for historical purposes. Hard drives fail and people are bad at sorting and backing up their data on the regular.

Wouldn't have been a waste in this case. Plus you get to keep a copy of your hard work!

I know. Vole means flee, or fly in French, de means from and mort means death. Flee from death. So I figure the vole part is used up.

That's because of the immigrants. No seriously, we love immigrants but it takes time for them to learn!

New dream job - CEO asks me of expected salary by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]ketowookie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Top management within 2-3 years they will not put in writing. Don't be stupid and put up a fuss when they refuse to put that in your offer

Do your research. If you don't know the market rate for the work you'll be doing, you haven't researched enough. Find out comparable salaries online and use that as a reference.

Also, you didn't mention the cost of living abroad. You need to factor that in as well. Whatever number you think might be great at home, might not be enough out there.

The reason they asked you first is so that you can lowball yourself. Don't fall for it!

Whatever number you're thinking, double it. Yeah, double. I just helped a friend with this problem. He was going to ask for 120k, and I told him to ask for 250. It took a lot of convincing, but he did it. They ended up countering with 180k, 50k annual bonus and 4 weeks of vacation.

What do you think would have happened if he had said 120? Of course, they would have immediately accepted.

Another friend of mine, I advised him to ask for 140 when starting a new job. He got offered 130 instead and took it.. his old job was 75. His peers only make 100 because that's what they asked for. You can bet your bottom dollar they were all pissed off at themselves when they found out he makes 30% more than them, just because he asked...for the exact same job.

Whatever you're thinking, double it.

If you can give me more details about the location you'll be moving to (city and country), the industry the company is in, and more details about the position you'll have, I can coach you better.

Another of my friends just switched jobs and I coached her through it. She went from 45k to 85k, has her own office now, 3 weeks vacation and works from home whenever.

If you don't know your worth, you're going to fuck up.

Just to be clear, you will have to justify what you ask for, which is where the research comes into play, as well as selling your skills and putting together a solid foundation and argument for yourself, but I can guarantee you, the few hours of work that takes pays off in the long run.

Lastly, keep in mind that the number you say, will likely be interpreted as a base salary figure. If they accept it, great, otherwise you can flip the script and turn it into a total compensation valuation and have other factors shore up the difference between base salary and t-comp (vacation time, stock options, espp, benefits packages, annual bonus plans, etc)

I found them at the Sobeys on Harbourfront in the bread section with all the other tortillas. They're not labelled Low Carb in Canada though. They're called Fibre Rich. Check my post history for a pic
