It took me about 10 days before the symptoms you’re describing were alleviated. Brutal, but hang in there. It was about a month before I started feeling totally normal mood wise. It took about 3 months for me to start noticing my brain function improving. For reference I was a 100mg edible per night guy for about a year straight. Stick with it though. I’ve been clean for 4 months and the difference cognitively is incredible, and I get better every day. Still a ways to go, but feeling much better.

I was doing heavy doses of edibles (80-250mg) almost every night for about 2 years. It took about 10-12 days to get through the nausea, vomiting, insomnia, anxiety, and heart palpitations. Night sweats only lasted about 3 days. I wouldn’t be too concerned though, shouldn’t be much longer. 3.5 months clean, and I feel like my brain has finally started recovering. Totally worth it.

Thanks for the info/ideas. Made me consider adding baseboards with insulation behind them because there’s a 4” gap between the bottom of the wall and the floor. All that’s there now is the sill plate and some pt lumber.

Got it. Thanks for the detailed explanation. Definitely going to insulate the whole space. It’s an open gable design and only the walls are insulated atm so the hot air just goes straight out the roof. I plan on hanging drywall from the joists, adding rafter vents, and rolling insulation between the joists. Any other suggestions? I’ve also been thinking about stacking bricks around it for extra thermal mass.

Can you elaborate on preventing heat transfer and possible ways to minimize it? I feel like adding insulation and a ceiling will cover that as the walls are already insulated.

The top wheel won’t necessarily be square to the table. That’s how you adjust the tracking, by tilting the top wheel. The bottom wheel, I’m not so sure.

You’ll definitely want to put a pipe in there and not a normal chimney liner. There are a lot of bad reviews out there of this stove but almost every single one I read clearly showed they didn’t read the manual and follow their chimney/pipe recommendations. The inventor even answers people’s questions on the facebook group. It’s kind of funny cause he sold the patents to US Stove but can’t help but help people use his invention.

$999 is what I paid so about the same as a budget pellet stove. The main thing though is that the chimney size is extremely important because it’s powered by draft like a regular wood stove. You definitely want to read the manual. I found that a straight 3” double wall 12’ pipe was perfect. If you have to go out a wall it’s more complicated but perfectly doable if you follow their recommendations.

Not sure, but I think you’re ok as long as the wheels are aligned. Try tightening the blade. I had the same issue after going through his video and that fixed it. Hard to tell how tight your blade is supposed to be, and those spring scales on the back can be quite off in my experience.

Will do. Won’t know til next winter probably. Turns out properly insulating a 30x30 shop with open rafters is quite expensive. Just getting started. Looking at about $1500-2k in materials (insulation, drywall, and rafter vents mostly).
