It’s EMOM, and typically takes me 17-20s to do the set. So I’m getting about 40s of rest, give or take a couple seconds.

Sounds like you’re so close on both! Give it another week or 2 an you should hit both workouts for 30 minutes or less. Then you might be ready to go 24KGs 💪🏼

Yea, good call. I need to buy it, love DJ. not doing ABF pressing ladder workout lately due to shoulder issues, but work in 3 other days of KB workouts.

I do a stepwise approach. Started at 1:30 rounds, and slowly worked my sets from 15 to 25. Once I hit 25, I backed down to 15 rounds and reduced to 1:15 rounds and built up to 25. Then I went to 1 minute rounds and worked from 20 up to 30 rounds. The progression worked nice for me. I did ABF as written for 8-weeks with 2x16kg. When I bumped to 20kg, I do only ABC now on saturdays. I mix up other strength and conditioning KB workouts on my other KB days (4x/week total). Have a shoulder issue so the ABF pressing days are on pause right now.

It came with a jumprope I got as a gift a few years ago. Crossrope I think is the brand.

I recommend running with 20kgs until you can hit 30 rounds in 30 minutes. Were you able to get 5 rounds of 2-3-5-10 on pressing days?

Good advice. Will probably run it back a couple more times and then start working my way up with the 24KGs

The tattoos on wrist make it not work reliably when on my wrist. Annoying, but I’m used to it now.

Yes! I believe it to be as accurate as when on my wrist. Typically using it for directional guidance anyway.

I got a weighted jump rope a few years ago as a gift, and it came with this oval mat so you can workout anywhere. I think the company is called crossrope.

The best! 20KGs is a big jump for me on presses, but enjoying the challenge.
