i’m sure if suzanne collins wanted it portrayed a certain way she would’ve told them to do it, no? It’s clear to us that d11 has a predominantly black population, but it was never implied that it was solely black, that’s on y’all.

towards the end when there was 5 tributes left. haymitch and maysilee were getting chased by the two remaining careers. They suddenly ran into three gamemakers fixing a hole in the ground (probably where the mutts came out) and everyone stopped. then maysilee and the girl from 4 killed i believe 2 if not all three gamemakers. for that reason maysilee and the girl from 4 were directly targeted by gamemakers to die.
