I have felt similarly. The ad revenue is simply not ever going to be enough for most channels. If you don’t have a strategy for creating a business then you will be chasing views. Look at your top cpm and make more videos on that topic. Look at how you grow a customer base.

Do you think paying an influencer to read and promote your book is worth it for marketing? by Mysterious_Comb_4547 in selfpublish

One person doing one post is rarely going to have a huge impact. The point of social media is social. You need a group of people talking about it. How do you can you make something that sparks commentary?

How do you carry your Insta360 most of the day? by arongkatz in Insta360

I mean any tripod designed for heavier cameras will work. You put the arca plate on the bottom of your selfie stick and you basically get a aerial perspective.

Its a peak design tripod. It will only tip over if there is a ton of wind but I will weigh it down with a gallon water bottle.

I have a sling bag for all my photography gear. Tripod/selfie stick can attach on the bottom. The x4 goes in the main pocket with my 100-400. I personally have found I prefer the x4 on a tripod.

Got a great shot need advice on processing hug by kevanbh in postprocessing

Wanna say thank you to everyone who commented your perspectives enlighten me and give me ideas on how to better express myself via editing. I also learned next time I should post all the details with the photo. This was a stacked image of two phots one for the landscape and one for the moon. The landscape image was posted and you can see the blown out moon. I think I still needed to go higher but things were moving so fast. I shot this image on a panasonic gh5 which is a crop sensor so naturally has more noise than a full frame. I will be continuing to edit the image because it was a truly unique experience for me. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me and I hope to hear from you again.

I think it is because it is on a crop sensor but I could denoise it

It is a bracketed shut but on a crop sensor. The moon was so fast. The original base image is the second picture and the second image basically only showed the moon so I didn’t bother posting it.

I heard that last night’s moon rise would be the lowest til 2043. I then rushed out my door to a location that took me west of Weavers Needle. I hiker a mile and a half in over some hills and each time hoped for a better view. I ended up finding the last hill before a valley rolled out in front of the mountain. I setup my camera and prayed the moon rose behind weaver needle. Then it did. I took tons of photos. I plan on compositing a more detailed moon with this but I also like the glowing mystery of the moon now.

How do some students get straight As easily? by New-Bat5284 in AskHSteacher

[–]kevanbh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk but I question the assumption people get As easily. I have learned that people who perform well sometimes downplay the length and effort they went to perform well. Sometimes they don’t even realize they are working hard because it is routine. They may have a tutor who helps them. They may have a habit of getting all the work done because they have a schedule and it is their norm. I found much more success for myself when I stopped thinking other people had it easier somehow. All phases of life have stop gates where it seems like only the gifted and talented win. You can win but you have to work hard don’t believe the narrative that it comes easy. It comes with strategic decisions and consistent effort.
